        성장에 따른 백서 절치유두의 신경 분포 변화

        출생후 성장에 따른 절치 유두의 신경분포 및 변화를 관찰하기 위하여 생후 1, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 35일 된 백서와 완전히 성장한 백서를 대상으로 calcitonin gene related peptide (CGRP)를 이용한 면역조직 화학적 방법으로 관찰하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 생후 1일군에서는 염주알 모양의 굵은 신경섬유가 성긴 결합조직에 나타났다. 5일군에서는 이러한 신경섬유의 밀도와 분지가 증가하여 상피하층으로 더욱 가까이 연장되었고 여러개의 varicosities도 관찰되었다. 10일군부터 신경섬유의 분지 및 밀도가 증가하였고 상피하층에서 신경총을 관찰할 수 있었으며 상피내 신경섬유의 진입을 관찰할 수 있었다. 20일군에서는 증가된 상피층내 신경섬유를 관찰할 수 있었으나 25일군에서부터 전반적인 신경섬유의 분포 및 밀도가 많이 감소되었으며 성장이 완료된 군에서는 chemosensory corpuscle 지역을 제외하고는 신경섬유를 거의 관찰할 수 없었다. The purpose of this study was to investigate the distribution of nerves in the incisive papilla of rat by each developing stage. The distribution on nerves in the incisive papilla was investigated by means of immunohistochemistry using an antibody against calcitonin gene related peptide (CGRP). The results were as follows : At 1 day after birth, CGRP-immunoreactive(IR) nerve fibers first appeared in loose connective tissue without forming an apparent terminal structure. At 5 days, the CGRP-IR nerve fibers increased in density and extended more to subepithelium. CGRP-IR nerve fiber began to penetrate into the epithelium at 10 days and reached maximum at 20 days. At 25 days, intraepithelial nerve fibers were not found, and the distribution and density of nerve fiber began to decrease. In adult rat, the nerve fiber almost could not be found in dome region except in chemosensory corpuscle region.

        치근단 병소의 임상적 연구

        The purpose of this study was to find the clinical features of periapical lesions. A total of 130 periapical lesions which were obtained from biopsy and diagnosed histopathologically as periapical cyst, periapical abscess, and periapical granuloma at the Department of Dentistry in Hanyang University Hospital were throughly analysed according to the distribution and incidence of age, sex, location, and so on. The following results were obtained : 1.Out of 130 periapical lesions, 88 cases(67.7%) were periapical cysts, 30 cases(23.1%) were periapical abscesses, and 12 cases(9.2%) were periapical granulomas. 2.The periapical lesions occurred most frequently in the third decade, and followed by the fourth, fifth, sixth, and second decade. The periapical cysts occurred most frequently in the third decade(26.1%), the periapical granulomas in the fourth decade(33.3% ) the periapical abscesses in the sixth decade(26.7%). 3.The periapical lesions were more frequent in men than in women with the ratio of men to women of 1.4 : 1. The radio of men to women of periapical cysts was 1.6 : 1, that of periapical granulomas was 0.5 : 1, and that of periapical abscesses was 1.3 : 1. 4.The periapical lesions were more frequent in maxilla than in mandible with the ratio of 1.2 : 1. The ratio of maxilla to mandible of periapical cysts was 1.5 : 1, that of periapical granulomas was 0.5 : 1, that of periapical abscesses was 1 : 1. 5.The most commonly involved location of the periapical lesions was maxillary anterior teeth(40.8%), and followed by mandibular molars, mandibular premolars, and mandibular anterior teeth and maxillary molars. The most frequent location of the periapical cysts was maxillary anterior teeth(48.9%), that of periapical granulomas was mandibular molars(50.0%), that of periapical abscesses was mandibular molars(40.0%).

        In order to obtain the basic data for artificial maturity control of 'Mibaek' peach, GA and ethephon were foliar sprayed 4 weeks prior to harvest, and their effects on fruit maturity and quality were examined. GA and ethephon tended to decrease the fruit weight except 100mg ㆍ L-1 GA+50 to 100mg · L-1 ethephon treatment. GA increased the fruit firmness, and ethephon at higher concentration increased the fruit drop. Harvest date was advanced for 7 to 8 days by ethephon while was delayed for 6 to 8 days by GA treatment, regardless of concentration.

        The paramagnetic organoruthenium (Ⅲ) complexes (η^5-C_5Me_5)RuCl₂(PR₃) (PR₃=PMe₃, PEt₃,PiPr₃, PCy₃, PMe₂Ph, PMePh₂,PPh₃, P(p-C_6H₄CH₃)₃, DPPE, DPPB, Py), (2a~2k) were synthesized by the reaction of [(η^5-C_5Me_5)RuCl₂]₂(1) with 1 equivalent of the corresponding phosphines (PR₃). The effective magnetic moment (μ_eff=1.65~2.07 B.M.) derived from the magnetic susceptibility measurements of the complexes (2a~2k) were consistent with the presence of a $quot;$quot;single$quot;$quot; unpaired electron in the molecule. Treatment of dichlororuthenium (Ⅲ) complex (η^5-C_5Me_5)RuCl₂(PR₃) (2) (i) with KBr in acetone afforded the dibromoruthenium (Ⅲ) complex (η^5-C_5Me_5)RuBr₂(PR₃) (PR₃=PPh₃), (ii) with sodium amalgam in diethylether led to th bis (phosphine) derivatives (η^5-C_5Me_5)RuCl(PR₃)₂(PR₃=PMe₃, PMePh₂), and (iii) with carbonmonoxide gave to the carbonyl derivatives (η^5-C_5Me_5)RuCl(PR₃)(CO) (PR₃=PMe₃, PPh₃).

        Effect of 2,4- D application on the fruit maturity and quality of 'Harcot' apricot and 'Mibaek' peach was examined. Leaf area of 'Harcot' apricot was not affected by 2,4-D while that of 'Mibaek' peach was increased by 35mg · L-1 2,4-D. Application of 2,4-D at 35mgㆍL-1 increased the fruit weight of both species, and that of 'Harcot' was doubled. Soluble solids content of 'Harcot' was decreased by 2,4-D while that of 'Mibaek' was not affected. Fruit maturity of 'Harcot' and 'Mibaek' was enhanced for respective 4 and 1 day by 2,4-D application. Percent fruit cracking of 'Harcot' apricot was decreased by 35mg · L-1 2,4-D.

      • 경기종목의 특성에 따른 유·무산소성 대사능력 및 무산소성 파워에 관한 실험적 연구

        This experimental study was designed, 1) to observe maximal oxygen uptake and anaerobic threshold during incremental loading treadmill exercise by 2-min interval. 2) to determine the anaerobic power in the wingate test during bicycle ergometer work with toe-stirrups. The subject were 16 college elite boxing player, 10 college elite soccer player The results were as -follows: 1. The means±SD of maximal oxygen uptake and maximal oxygen uptake per kg body weight were 4.06±0.66l/min, 4.27±0.46l/min, and 60.58±7.61ml/kg/min 63.05±3.41ml/kg/min, respectively. also maximal heart rate were 187.88±9.44 beats/min, 185.40±6.57 beats/min. respectively. 2. The means±SD of maximal oxygen uptake and maximal oxygen uptake per kg body weight at anaerobic threshold was 2.93±0.5l/min, 3.23±0.47l/min (AT-VO2. l/min), and 43.70±6.97ml/kg/min, 47.71±4.99ml/kg/min (AT-VO2. ml/kg/min), respectively. also Anaerobic Treshold level (AT-% VO2max) was about 72.49±4.37% VO2max, 75.37±8.8% VO2max, and AT-% HRmax was about 86.07±5.97% HRmax, 87.84±6.25% HRmax, respectively. 3. The means ±SD of Anaerobic Power in the wingate test was 592.50±65.42 Wattes, 588.00±46.30 Wattes, respectively. The results of this study indicated that boxing players are incresed training program and exercise prescription for anaerobic metabolic process, soccer players are done training program for aerobic metabolic process, because of decresed maximal oxygen uptake and anaerobic threshold level.

      • 투기종목 선수들의 무산소성 역치의 특성

        The purpose of the present study is to determine the levels of maximal oxygen uptake and anaerobic threshold of boxing players(n=23), ken-do players(n=18), Judo players(n=12), T.D.K players(n=18). Treadmill test was used to measure maximal state and anaerobic threshold of metabolic variables. Treadmill exercises protocol was 2-min incremental test from an initial work load of 0MPH(grade : 0%) to all-out by step of 1.0MPH(grade : 2%). The results of measurement was as follows : 1. Absolute(1/min) and relative(ml/kg/min) maximal oxygen uptake was highest(5.08l/min, 65.01 ml/kg/min) in Judo layers, followed in order by the T.D.K players (4.37l/min, 64.74 ml/kg/min), Boxing players(4.18) l/min, 63.19 ml/kg/min) and ken-do players(3.81l/min, 58.65 ml/kg/min). It is not significant difference in the relative maximal oxygen uptake, but is significant difference between group in the absolute maximal oxygen uptake(p<0.001) 2. AT-VO₂(l/min) and AT-VO₂(ml/kg/min) in the anaerobic threshold was highest (3.71 l/min, 47.28 ml/kg/min) in Judo players, followed in order by the T.K.D players(3.29 l/min, 48.75 ml/kg/min), boxing players(2.90 l/min, 43.91 ml/kg/min) and ken-do players(2.82 l/min, 43.52 ml/kg/min). It is not significant difference in the AT-V02(ml/kg/min), but is significant difference between group in the AT-V02(l/min). (p<0.001) 3. %HRmax and %V 02max in the anaerobic threshold was not significant difference between group.

      • Effective Multiplication of Somatic Embryos Using Suspension Culture and Regeneration in Soybean

        The use of liquid-medium-based procedure relative to the solid media led to a 4.5-fold increase in the number of cotyledon-stage embryos. The most efficient system for multiplication and regeneration of somatic embryos was CP6 procedure with the media MSD40/MSD20/MSM6AC/FNL0S3S3GM. However, the rate of regeneration was lower. About 71% of the embryos with dicotyledon were continued to develop the roots after desiccation treatment and 92% of the germinated embryos produced shoots in 10 days. Of the four morphologically different types of embryos, dicotyledonous ones showed a high frequency of conversion, while only a few with fused and horn type cotyledon developed shoots. Mature somatic embryos were desiccated in empty petri dishes for 12-72 h. Embryo survival rate was the highest after 12 h of desiccation, but maximal germination was observed at 24 h. After desiccation, they were placed on MS medium without growth regulators for germination. Germinating embryos were transferred to small pots with vermiculite for plant regeneration. The etiolating the plants during the growth was resolved to add 1% activated charcoal on hormone-free MS medium.
