Hindrances in the old's residential life increase in three steps as they become older; the independent stage, the semi-dependent stage and the dependent stage. Therefore the assistant services should be offered according to each steps. Despite the fact that all the Housing for the Elderly in this country are originally fitted for only two of these stages except the dependent stage, they actually take all of them. Therefore it is necessary to develop housing style for the old who are in the semi-dependent stage to offer complete assistant services to them; I will call this style 'Serviced Housing' in this study. In several countries, Serviced Housing is fixed as a kind of housing style and I think it would be possible that the style would be adopted in this country. The purpose of this study is to search for Service Program and Space Program of Serviced Housing that matches our conditions. The method of this study is to investigate 4 styles of housing for the aged in 45 domestic samples. Consequently, the results of this study are as follows. The service program of Serviced Housing consists of these 5 elements; 1) Assistant Service 2) Medical-treatment Service 3) Therapy and Rehabilitation Service 4) Consultation Service 5) Social Recreation Service The space program of Serviced Housing consists of these 5 elements; 1) Public and Assistant Service Space 2) Medical-treatment and Therapy Space 3) Consultation and Social Recreation Space 4) Residential Space 5) Support and Administration Space Each program was proposed to 2 types in conclusion; Basic Type and Advanced Type. And elements are classified into 'Essential', 'Recommendable', 'Optional' in each type. I think there are 2 directions if we admit Serviced Housing. One is to separate it from the precedent domestic Housing for the Elderly. The other is to add the Serviced Housing function to the precedent domestic Housing for the Elderly with receiving the service program and the space program of them. I think the latter is better, but for this we should consider the Housing for the Elderly as a residence rather than a institution. And limitation of this study was as follows; 1) This study didn't consider Position, Scale, Accommodation and Cost of the Housing. 2) The Space Program is focused on the room's function of each space.
