그뤼츠마허의 편곡에 의한 보케리니 첼로 협주곡 B 장조 분석 연구
본 논문에서는 그뤼츠마허의 편곡에 의한 보케리니 첼로 협주곡 B♭장조를 분석 연구하였다. 본인은 먼저, 그뤼츠마허가 편곡한 B♭장조 첼로 협주곡의 본래 작곡자인 보케리니의 생애와 음악을 소개하고 이 작품의 음악적 배경과 양식의 이해를 돕기 위한 이론적 배경으로 그뤼츠마허의 생애와 음악을 소개하였다. 그리고 보케리니의 원곡과 그뤼츠마허에 의해 편곡된 작품 분석을 통해 보케리니가 사용한 독창적인 화려함과 세련된 첼로의 연주기법들, 그리고 음악적으로 표현되는 특징과 그뤼츠마허가 편곡한 곡에서 나타나는 여러 가지 특징들을 연구하였다. 작곡가이자 첼로 연주자였던 보케리니는 첼로가 저음악기 특성상 다른 현악기에 비해 연주기법이 발전되지 못했었던 점을 극복하고 독주악기로서 자립시키는 큰 공헌을 하였는데, 본인은 이 음악이 그뤼츠마허의 편곡을 통해 첼로 주법의 발달과 레퍼토리 확장에 크게 공헌하였음을 입증하고자 했다. 따라서 원곡보다 그뤼츠마허에 의해 편집된 음악으로 더욱 유명해진 보케리니 첼로 협주곡 B♭장조 작품을 원곡과의 차이점을 비교 제기하며 분석 연구하였다 In this paper, I analyzed and researched the Boccherini's Cello Concerto in B♭ major edited by Gruetzmacher. At first, I introduced life and music of Boccherini who was the original composer of B♭major Cello Concerto that was edited by Gruetzmacher, as a theoretical background for helping to understand the musical background and the style of this work, I also introduced Gruetzmacher's life and his music. Original work of Boccherini and edited work of Gruetzmacher were analyzed with compare through edited music. With edited music, I analyzed and researched Boccherini's unique, brilliant, and refined cello techniques and distinguishing effects that are being musically expressed. Boccherini, who was a composer and a cellist, immensely contributed to use a cello as a soloist instrument, even though cello techniques have not developed much as one of the characteristics of a low-pitched instrument, and tried to prove that this music improves cello's history by the edit of Gruetzmacher. This research was analyzed suggesting the difference between the original work and Boccherini's Cello Concerto in B♭major that became more famous after Gruetzmacher has edited it.

플루트의 연주기법에 관한 연구 : 20C에 나타난 현대적 기법을 중심으로

During the 20th century, the rapid changes in society, inclusive of remarkable development in science technology, have brought major transformations to the sense of values and the way of life. Such changes have also affected different art forms, namely music, as illustrated by experimental attempts reflecting newly-introduced values and ideas. In flute music, implementation of innovative techniques became possible, owing to Bohms technical improvements of the instrument. However, many flutists regarded the new performance skills as merely difficult and unacceptable due to its distinct tone sound and abstruse playing techniques. In order to overcome such abstract and passive understanding, this thesis takes a three-step approach. First, it examines the music environment in the 20th century and developmental process of technical improvements and materials used which allowed for the distinct playing techniques. Second, it defines and introduces traditional playing techniques. Third, it defines the modern techniques of the 20th century and further expounds it by providing illustrations of the techniques application. In summation, the thesis aims to be a reliable reference for study of the 20th century flute music as well as its application in performance. 20C의 격변하는 우리 사회와 그 안에서의 놀라운 과학의 발전 등은 인간 의 가치관 및 생활상에 많은 변화를 일으켰으며, 이는 예술에도 그 영향을 미 쳐 새로운 시대정신과 보편적 가치관이 반영된 실험적 시도가 많이 이루어졌다. 플루트 음악에서는 뵘의 개선된 플루트로 말미암아 20C 이전에는 사용되지 않 았던 새로운 기법의 연주가 실제로 가능하게 되었다. 그러나 이러한 플루트의 현대적 기법은 그 특이한 소리와 난해하고 생소한 연주방법으로 인하여 많은 연주자들에게 어렵고 어색한 것으로 밖에 인식되지 않았다. 이러한 막연하고도 적극적이지 못한 인식에서부터 벗어나고자 첫째, 본 논문은 20C 음악환경과 새로운 연주기법을 가능케 한 플루트의 기능 및 재료 발달 과정을 이론적 고찰을 통해 살펴보고, 둘째, 일반적 전통 연주 기법을 소 개한 후, 셋째, 20C 현대적 기법의 정의와 연주방법을 그 기법이 실제로 적용된 사례를 통해 설명하였다. 따라서 본 논문은 20C 플루트 음악에 대한 올바른 이 해와 보다 나은 연주가 이루어질 수 있도록 도움이 되고자 함에 그 목적을 두 고 있다.

C. Franck 『Cello Sonata in A Major』에 관한 연구

근대 프랑스 음악의 선구자인 프랑크(Cesar Auguste Franck 1822-1890)는 오페라가 융성했던 그 당시의 음악사조에 교향곡이나 실내악곡과 같은 순수 기악음악을 발전시키고 실내악의 기초를 세우는데 큰 공헌을 하였다. 본 논문에서 다루고자 하는 프랑크의 Cello Sonata in A major는 베토벤(L. A.Beethoven,1770-1827), 브람스(J.Brahms,1833-1897)와 함께 낭만시대 기악 소나타곡 가운데 최고의 위치를 차지하는 명곡으로 고전적 형식의 틀 위에 자신만의 독특한 낭만어법을 자유롭게 구사한 그의 음악적인 특성을 보여 주고 있다. 그의 음악은 형식과 조성에 얽매이지 않고 다양하게 변화하는 선율과 반음계적인 화성, 자유로운 전조를 사용하였으며 하나 또는 둘 이상의 주제를 여러 악장에 등장시켜 작품전체에 통일성을 부여하는 순환 형식을 사용하였다. 이 곡에서는 전체 4개의 악장에 3개의 순환 동기가 각 악장을 유기적으로 연결 시키고 있다. 이 작품은 제3기(1875년이후)에 속하는 곡으로 4악장 구성의 소나타 3부 형식을 갖추고 있으며 위와 같은 여러 가지 기교를 통하여 작곡가의 개성을 표현한 소중한 예술 작품이라 볼 수 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 작곡가의 시대적 배경 및 음악적 특징, 그의 작품들에 대해 알아보고 Cello sonata in A Major의 분석을 통해 이곡에 나타난 특징적 어법과 작품세계를 연구하였다. C. Franck(1822-1890), who was the founder of modern French music, devoted himself to the development of instrumntal music such as symphony and chamber music. In his age, the main genre of music was opera, but C. Franck contributed to the establishment of chamber music. The sonata for cello and piano in A Major by C. Franck is taken as the masterpiece of the cello works in romantic period as much as those of L.A.Beethoven and J. Brahms. In this work, C. Franck combined his own romantic idiom with the classical form. This work consists of 4 movements, and the characteristics are as follows: the variations of melodies with using of counterpoint, the augmentation and diminution of rhythm, chromatic harmony, the free styled modulation and the using of three cyclic motives which gives the unity throughout the whole movements. In this thesis, the writer studied the musical background of C. Franck's age, the characteristics and the works of his, also, analyzed his unique method and characteristics.
