이 연구의 목적은 한국의 웹사이트의 질을 평가하는 것이었다. 그러기 위해 콘텐츠 및 시스템 품질 기준을 측정하는 정량적 방식을 적용하여 문헌정보학과의 웹사이트에 대한 비교 분석을 하였다. 웹사이트에 제공되는 정보의 특성을 나타내는 콘텐츠 품질은 현재성 및 포괄성 하부 기준, 그리고 하드웨어 및 소프트웨어 측면과 웹 페이지 인터페이스를 나타내는 시스템 품질은 접근성 및 탐색 하부 기준으로 측정하였다. 이 연구는 웹사이트 품질의 정량적 측정치에 도달하기 위해 자동화된 웹사이트 평가 도구와 함께 수동 분석을 사용했다. 또한, 한국과 미국 LIS 학교 웹사이트의 순위를 계산하여 최상의 웹사이트들을 파악하기 위해 의사 결정 연구에 기반한 Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) 와 Linear Weightage Model (LWM)을 조합한 분석방법을 자동화된 도구에서 출력된 10 가지 특성에 적용했다. 속성은 페이지 크기, 끊어진 링크, 속도 지수, 로딩 시간, 접근성 오류, 성능 점수, SEO 점수, 유효성 검사 오류, PageRank점수, 업로드빈도였다.이연구는두나라의 K웹사이트의질적차이를밝혀냈고한국 웹사이트의 내용과 시스템 품질이 기준점인 미국에 비해 열악하다는 것을 보여주었다. 웹사이트 순위를 매긴 하이브리드 방법은 상위 11개 웹사이트가 미국 LIS 학교이며 대부분의 한국 웹사이트들의 낮은 순위를 보여주어 한국 웹사이트들의 질이 상대적으로 더 낮다는 것을 증명했다. The aim of this research was to evaluate the quality of websites in South Korea. To that end, we conducted a comparative analysis of Library and Information Science schools’ websites by applying the quantitative approach to measure the content and system quality criteria. The content quality, which represents the characteristics of information provided on the website, was measured by currency and comprehensiveness sub-criteria. The system quality, which represents the hardware and software aspects and webpage interface, was measured by assessing the accessibility and navigation sub-criteria. The study employed manual analysis along with automated website evaluation tools to arrive at quantitative measurements of website quality. In addition, based on prior research this study implemented a combination of two decision-making methods Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Linear Weightage Model (LWM) applied to the output of the automated tools to rank Korean and the U.S. LIS school websites and identified the best web pages based on ten attributes. The attributes were page size, broken links, speed index, loading time, accessibility errors, performance score, SEO score, validation errors, PageRank score, and frequency of uploads. The study uncovered differences in the quality of university websites in both countries and showed that the content and system quality of Korean websites are poorer compared to the U.S. benchmark. The implementation of the hybrid method for website ranking showed that top-eleven best quality websites are U.S. LIS schools and the majority of the Korean websites received lower ranking scores, which highlighted the lower quality of Korean university websites.
