국내 의료보건직 종사자들의 보완대체의학 인식도에 관한 문헌 고찰

본 연구는 국내 의료보건직 종사자들의 보완대체의학에 대한 인식도를 파악한 논문들을 통합, 고찰하여, 기존 논문들의 수적, 지역적 데이터의 한계를 극복하고, 보완대체의학의 유용성과 교육의 필요성, 발전과제 등을 위한 기초자료를 제공함에 목적이 있다. 본 연구는 의료 보건종사자들의 일반적인 특성, 인식정도, 교육의 필요성, 유용성을 파악 후 분석하였으며, 이에 대한 문헌 선택 방법으로는 국내를 기준으로 데이터 베이스 DB pia, Korean Studies Information Service System(KISS), Research Information Service System(RISS), NDSL을 통해 학술지 및 학위 논문 및 자료를 검색하였다. 검색된 데이터 중에서 실증분석으로 조사 한 데이터를 선별하여 최종 15건의 데이터를 선별하여 분석한 결과 다음과 같은 사실을 발견하였다. 첫째, 대부분의 논문에서 의료보건직 종사자는 보완대체의학에 대한 인식도에 대해 높은 퍼센트로 알고 있다고 대답하였다. 둘째, 교육경험 및 유무 그리고 동기에 대해서는 전반적으로 50% 이상 없었다가 많은 결과를 보여주었다. 교육을 받을 수 있는 기회나 환경이 열악한 안타까운 현실을 보여주고 있어 배우고는 싶으나 환경이나 기회가 적은 것으로 보여주는 응답이 대부분이었다. 셋째, 보완대체의학에 대한 필요성과 이용 유무에 대해서는 전체적으로 높은 수준의 긍정적 결과를 보여주고 있다. 의사와 간호사, 물리치료사와 요양보호사, 약사, 임상병리사, 방사선사 직군에 따른 보완대체의학에 대한 유용성은 조금은 차이를 보였으나 이에 대해 종합적으로는 보완대체의학에 대해 유용하게 인식하고 있다. 그러나 보완대체의학에 대한 유용성은 그 자체로서의 기능보다는 현대 의학적 치료의 보조적 수단으로서 크게 나타난다는 응답이 주를 이루었다. 이와 같은 연구 결과를 토대로 보완대체의학에 대한 과학적 근거와 안정성을 제공할 수 있는 전문 인력 양성 및 연구기관의 확충이 절실하게 필요하다. 보완대체의학이 신속하고 정확하게 제공되기 위해 의료인들의 보완대체의학에 대한 재교육의 중요성도 간과할 수 없다. 따라서 환자들의 경제적 부담을 덜어주고 원활하게 접근할 수 있도록 도와주는 제도적 장치들이 고안되고 발전되어야 할 필요가 있다. This study integrates and examines papers that have identified the awareness of Complementary and Alternative Medicine in Korean healthcare workers, overcoming the limitations of numerical and regional data of existing papers. The purpose of this study is to provide the basic data based on the usefulness and necessity of Complementary and Alternative Medicine. This study analyzed the general characteristics, the degree of recognition, the necessity of education, and the usefulness of medical health workers from the selected data. DB pia, Korean Studies Information Service System (KISS), Research Information service system (RISS) and NDSL were used to search journals and dissertations. From the searched data, the survey data were selected and the final 15 data were selected and analyzed. The following findings were found. First, in most papers, a high percentage of health workers said they knew complementary and alternative medicine. Second, many results were shown that there was no more than 50% of educational experience and motivation. Most of the respondents wanted to learn the complementary and alternative medicine but had to face the unfortunate reality because of absence for educational opportunities and poor environment. Third, the necessity and use of complementary alternative medicine show high positive results overall. The usefulness of complementary and alternative medicine by doctors, nurses, physical therapists and nursing care practitioners, pharmacists, clinical pathologists, and radiation technologists showed some differences, but overall, it is recognized as useful. However, the main answer was that the usefulness of complementary and alternative medicine appeared more as an anxiliary means of modern medical treatment than as a function of itself. Based on these findings, there is an urgent need for the development of professional manpower and the expansion of research institutes that can provide scientific evidence and stability for complementary and alternative medicine. The importance of reeducation of complementary and alternative medicine to health care providers cannot be overlooked, so that complementary and alternative medicine can be provided quickly and accurately. Therefore, institutional devices need to be devised and developed to reduce the financial burden on patients and help them to access smoothly.
