      • 수용액에서 도판트 PTSA를 도핑시켜 화학적으로 합성한 Polyprrole의 물리화학적 특성 연구

        크기가 큰 도판트 ρ-toluene sulfonic acid (PTSA)로 도프시켜 PPy-PTS을 합성하기 위해 수용액 상태에서 산화제 APS를 사용하여 도판트의 농도를 0M, 0.2M, 0.6M, 1.0M, 3.0M씩 다르게 하여 ‘in-situ doping polymerization’ 방법으로 PPy-PTS을 합성하였다. 합성된 PPy-PTS의 FT-IR, SEM, TGA, 전기전도도를 측정하여 물리화학적 특성을 조사였다. 합성된 PPy-PTS은 도판트의 농도와 표면형태에 따라 전기전도도의 차이를 나타내었다.도판트 PTSA를 도핑시켜 화학적 방법으로 합성한 PPy-PTS은 SEM을 통해 섬유모양의 표면형태를 갖는 것을 확인하였으며, 이러한 표면형태는 PTSA의 농도에 영향을 받는 것을 알 수 있었다. PTSA의 농도가 증가할수록 PPy-PTS의 표면형태는 알갱이-섬유-덩어리로 변하는 것을 관찰하였다. PTSA의 농도가 0.6M일 때 직경이 80~250nm의 섬유모양을 가지며, 가장 높은 전기전도도인 198 Scm를 나타냈었으며 이는 PTSA를 첨가하지 않고 표면형태가 과립질형일 때의 PPy-PTS보다 약 8배 정도 전기전도도가 향상하였다. FT-IR 분광분석을 통해서 폴리피롤내에 도판트 PTSA가 효과적으로 도핑되어 합성되었으며, 전기적 성질을 나타내는 전하운반체인 폴라론과 바이폴라론을 FT-IR 분광분석에서 간접적으로 알 수 있었다. 또한 합성된 폴리피롤의 열적 안정성을 알아보기 위해서 TGA 분석 통해 합성된 PPy-PTS는 도판트 PTSA를 첨가하지 않는 것에 비해 분해 온도가 높은 것으로 나타났으며 열적으로 더욱 안정한 전도성 고분자임을 알 수 있었다. 합성된 폴리피롤은 도판트의 농도와 합성 방법 등에 의해 표면형태, 크기, 전기적 성질를 조절할 수 있었다. 전기 전도도의 온도 의존성을 살펴본 결과, 합성한 폴리피롤은 반도체적인 성질을 나타내며 이들의 전도 메카니즘은 모두 3차원의 모든 방향으로 건너뜀(hopping)이 존재하는 3-D VRH(Three Dimensional Variable Range Hopping) 모델에 잘 들어 맞는 경향을 나타내었다. Polypyrroles doped with p-toluene sulfonic acid (PTSA) as a dopant were systhesized by in-situ doping polymerization method in aqueous solution. When the polymerization were carried out by using APS as an oxidant, the concentrations of PTSA were changed from 0M, 0.2M, 0.6M and 1.0M and 3.0M. The physicochemocal properties of PPy-PTS was investigated by FT-IR spectra, SEM iamges, TGA and electrical conductivity measurements.The morphologies of fibers were observed from the images of scanning electron microscopy. It was found that the morphology of the resulting PPy-PTS was significantly variated by the concentration of PTSA. When the concentration of PTSA was increased, the morphologies of PPy-PTS varied from grain via fiber to block. The maximum electrical conductivity at room temperature is 198 Scm for PPy-PTS(0.6M), which is much higher than that of the PPy without PTSA. The molecular structure of the resulting PPy-PTS was confirmed by FT-IR and TGA measurements. From the temperature dependence of the electrical conductivity the conduction mechanism is 3D-VRH(three dimensional-variable range hopping) model.

      • Effect of Eucommia ulmoides cortex extract on Ovariectomized rat model of Osteoporosis

        In the present study, we examined the preventive effects of the E. ulmoides on bone lose in OVX rat. E. ulmoides was administrated orally, which started on the first week after bilaterial OVX surgery. BMD was determined using dual energy x-ray absorptiometry (DXA). Our finding demonstrated that 8 week treatment with E. ulmoides significantly increased femur and lumbar vertebrae bone mineral density (BMD) and inhibited the increase in serum alkaline phosphatase (ALP) levels compared to ovariectomized (OVX) control rats, without resulting in an increased uterus weight. In conclusion, E. ulmoides is able to prevent OVX-induced in BMD without hyperplastic effect on uterus. E. ulmoides may be a reasonable natural alternative for the prevention of postmenopausal osteoporosis.

        The quality system such as ISO 9000 is powerful for every companies to increase their own competitive power. Especially it's getting more important as because it's more globalized every day. The goals of this study are to review the ISO 9000, Cost Quality and Performance and analyze the relationship among quality system, cost quality and performance. To attain these purpose, this study is consisted as following; 1) An Introduction 2) A Theological Background: 3) The State of Remicon Industry 4) Empirical Analysis and 5) Conclusion. This study is completed by carrying out the theological and substantial approach. The domestic and foreign textbooks were widely used as references and the survey of the study with the method of questionnaires is done next to the reference books. 560 questionnaires have been distributed to remicon companies in Korea. Among 560 questionnaires, 108 returned and 101 of them were used for the analysis of this study. SPSS for Windows Release 8.0, the statistical package for social science was used for the substantial analysis. Components of ISO 9000 quality system were used as the relevant variables for the analysis, and divided into 3 different factors. These 3 factors were named as followings; Factor related to internal quality audit and service, Factor related to design control and Factor related to management responsibility and contract. These 3 factors are mail independent variables and quality cost and performance were used as dependent variables. To find out the effort of these 3 factors to the dependent variables, statistical techniques such as Correlation and Regression were used to approve the hypotheses. And T-test and Oneway ANOVA were used for other independent variables such as size of a company, and location of the company. The analysis of the substantial investigation is as follows; First, there were negative relationships between quality cost and the factor related to management responsibility and contract. Second, there were very positive relationships between performance of a company and the components of ISO 9000. Third, The longer company's history, the more being clear to the bottom at the components of ISO 9000. Forth, The bigger size of a company, the more being clear to the bottom at the components of ISO 9000.

      • 남자 근로자의 인슐린저항성증후군 발생률 및 위험 요인

        Background and Objective: Insulin resistance syndrome (IRS) is characterized by insulin resistance and hyperinsulinemia, and known as a constellation of obesity, hypertension, impaired glucose tolerance, low HDL cholesterol levels, and/or hypertriglyceridemia, all of which are associated with an increased risk of cardiovascular disease(CVD). The criteria of diagnoses of IRS are different, and the incidence of IRS are unknown. Therefore, the aim in this research was to identify the prevalence and incidence of IRS for workers according to the criteria of diagnoses suggested by the ACE/AACE (American College of Endocrinology/ American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists) recently, and the association between insulin resistance and risk factors of IRS. Materials and Methods: Study period was 2.5 years from March, 2002 to September, 2004. 5,605 male workers were examined in first screening, and the 1,578 workers who were not diagnosed metabolic disease in first screening and were completed follow-up in 2004, were the final subjects. The criteria of diagnosis were suggested by the ACE/AACE and the risk factors-age, BMI, percent of body fat, the waist-to-hip rate, total cholesterol, LDL, AST, ALT, γ-GT, history of drinking and smoking, the degree of physical activities and food preference-were examined. The prevalence was assessed by using the result of the first screening. and the incidence were evaluated with 2-year follow-up outcome. The relative risk of IRS by risk factors was evaluated with multiple logistic regression analysis. Results: The age adjusted prevalence of IRS was 24.8% and the incidence was 6.7/100/year. In Chi-square and Chi-square tend test, statistically significant differences in prevalence with age groups were shown, and the relative risk of age, smoking, waist-to-hip ratio, LDL cholesterol and ALT was 1.03(95% CI, 1.00-1.50), 1.63(95% CI, 1.09-2.42), 1.74(95% CI, 1.17-2.58), 1.70(95% CI, 1.19-2.44) and 1.70(95% CI, 1.20-2.41), respectively. According to the increased insulin levels, the prevalence of IRS and component diseases was statistically significantly high. The association between insulin levels and risk factors of IRS had shown statistically significant correlation. Conclusions : Age, obesity, smoking, dyslipidemia and liver dysfunction which are the risk factors for IRS were identified in this study, and they were identical with the risk factors for CVD. The statistically significant association between these risk factors and insulin levels was identified by 2-year follow-up, and the relationships between quartiles of insulin levels and the IRS prevalence or the component diseases of IRS were statistically significant. These results suggested that these risk factors were the preceding causes of hyperinsulinemia and that hyperinsulinemia was closely associated with CVD.

      • 운동유형과 환기역치가 인간의 면역반응에 미치는 영향

        This study aims at defining the effect of the difference of exercise duration and physical strength level in groups by way of exercise type and intensity (ventilatory threshold on the responses to the human immune cell. The subjects were total 12 persons, which were consisted of 6 persons and 6 handball players. The responses of immune cells according to the exercise type (graded maximal exercise and ventilatory threshold maximal exercise), exercise duration (5 minutes of individual ventilatory threshold and all-out exercise), and groups (commons and players) were compared and analyzed in the states of relaxing, ventilatory threshold(VT), post-exercise, 30 minute of restoring, after-60 minutes. The results are as follows: First, both graded maximal exercise and ventilatory threshold maximal exercise increased leucocyte (p< .05), lymphocyte (p< .05) and neutrophil which are leucocyte subsets post-exercise. These increases were restored to the level of relaxing (p< .01) within 30 minutes of restoring. There were no differences of importance between exercise types and between groups (p> .05). Second, both graded maximal exercise and ventilatory threshold maximal exercise revealed the increase of absolute value of the total T-lymphocyte, T4-lymphocyte, and T8-lymphocyte post-exercise, which were restored to the level of relaxing within 30 minutes of restoring. The ratios of T4/T8 were reduced post-exercise. And for all the T-lymphocyte subsets, there were no differences of importance between exercise types and between groups (p> .05). Third, both graded maximal exercise and ventilatory threshold maximal exercise did not make any meaningful changes in the activity of NK-cells. And there were no differences of importance statistically between exercise types and between groups (p> .05). Fourth, both VT exercise (5min) and VT exercise (all-out) revealed the meaningful increase of leucocyte and lymphocyte (p<.05) post-exercise, which were restored to the level of relaxing within 30 minutes of restoring. There were no differences of importance statistically between exercise duration and between groups (p>.05). Fifth, both VT exercise(5min) and VT exercise(al1-out) increased the absolute value of T-lymphocyte, T4-lymphocyte, and T8-lymphocyte. The ratios of T4/T8 reduced simultaneously post-exercise, and restored to the level of relaxing within 30 minutes of restoring. There were no statistical significances between exercise duration and between groups (p>.05). Sixth, both VT exercise(5min) and VT(all-out) increased the activity of NK-cells and also there were no differences of importance statistically between exercise types and between groups (P>.05). Seventh, compared with the state of relaxing, leucocyte subsets (leucocyte, neutrophil, lymphocyte) in the state of VT revealed meaningful increase(P<.05), but there were no differences of importance statistically (P>.05). Eighth, compared with the state of resting, T-lymphocyte in the state of VT revealed meaningful changes, but T-lymphocyte, T4-lymphocyte, TS-lymphocyte, NK-cells as well as T4/T8 ratio did not reveal any differences between groups statistically (p>.05). Synthesizing the above results, maximal exercise and exercise duration by way of graded maximal exercise and VT intensity are the increase of total T-lymphocyte, helper T cell (T4-cell), and the activity NK-cells post-exercise. The exercise types, exercise intensity and exercise duration carried through by this study would affect immunity homeostasis positively. VT exercise, in especial, as a proper exercise intensity to improve enduring exercise carry-out ability is acknowledged its availability. Therefore its validity as a reinforcement threshold for immunity which is able to improve both fitness for performance and fitness for protection simultaneously should be examined after on.

      • 아치구조물에 대한 면진장치 적용성 평가

        Large spatial structures are maximizing structural efficiency based on the principle of Force flow. Population and lightweight of construction materials have increased demand for Large spatial structures. In the results of demand, various types of large spatial structures were constructed. Arch structure has the basic characteristics of large spatial structure. And arch structure can form various spaces. Therefore, Arch structure can be used to analyze seismic responses of large spatial structure. But, horizontal response and vertical response in arch Structure are caused by horizontal earthquake due to morphometric charateristics of arch structure. Also, there are many unpredictable variables. Arch structure is difficult to analyze the dynamic response caused by seismic loads. This thesis is analyze to dynamic characteristics and seismic response of arch structure, and the applicability of the vibration control system was examined. In the results of this thesis, when the seismic isolation system is installed on the arch structure, it shows excellent performance in the vibration control of the horizontal and vertical acceleration response. Absolute displacement response is not different between before and after installation of the isolation device, but the response period is longer than before installation. And The relative displacement response is greater than that of arch structures without installed isolation devices. This result is due to the lowered horizontal stiffness by installing an isolation device on the arch structure. Also, the longer response period shows that the effect of the earthquake on the structure is reduced. The acceleration response increases as the rise-span ratio decreases, the response reduction rate of the isolation device increases. Especially, the reduction rate against the horizontal acceleration response is excellent. However, as the rise-span ratio of the arch structure decreases, the influence of the vertical response to the horizontal seismic vibration increases, so it is necessary to pay attention to the vertical stiffness when applying the seismic isolation system. In future study, it will model dome structures with different underlying support conditions. Also, it will analyze the the dynamic responses of the base and middle seismic isolators and evaluate the applicability of the seismic isolation system. 대공간구조물은 힘의 흐름을 기본 원리로 하여 구조적 효율성을 극대화한 구조이다. 산업화로 인한 인구의 밀집과 구조재료의 경량화로 인해 대공간구조물에 대한 수요가 증대되었다. 수요를 충족시키기 위해서 다양한 형태의 대공간구조물이 건설되었다. 아치구조는 대공간구조물에 대한 기본 특성을 내제하고 있으며, 이용 방식에 따라 다양한 형태의 공간을 구성할 수 있다. 그러므로 아치구조는 대공간구조물의 지진응답을 분석하는데 사용될 수 있다. 아치구조는 수평방향 지진동에 의해서 대칭모드에 따른 수평방향 응답뿐만 아니라 역대칭모드에 따른 수직방향 응답이 발생하고 예측할 수 없는 변수가 많기 때문에, 지진하중으로 인한 동적응답을 파악하기가 어렵다. 이에 따라 본 논문에서는 아치구조의 동적특성과 지진에 대한 응답을 분석하고 면진장치의 적용 가능성을 분석했다. 본 논문의 결과, 아치구조물에 면진장치를 설치하면 수평 및 수직 가속도 응답의 진동 제어 성능이 우수하다. 절대변위응답은 면진장치 설치 전후의 응답 차이가 작지만 설치 전보다 설치 후에 응답 주기가 길어졌다. 그리고 상대변위응답은 면진장치 설치 전보다 설치 후에 응답이 크게 나타나는데, 이는 아치구조물에 면진장치를 설치함으로서 수평강성이 작아졌기 때문이다. 면진 아치구조물의 가속도응답은 라이즈-스팬비가 낮아질수록 응답의 크기가 감소하며, 특히 면진장치를 설치함으로써 수평가속도응답에 대한 응답 저감이 우수하다. 하지만 라이즈-스팬비가 낮아질수록 수평지진동에 대한 수직방향 응답이 수평방향보다 커지기 때문에, 면진장치 적용시 수직강성에 대해 유의할 필요가 있다. 향후 연구에서는 지지조건이 다른 돔구조물을 기초면진과 중간면진으로 구분하여 동적응답을 분석하고 면진장치의 적용 가능성을 평가할 것이다.
