The forming foundation course is a key part of the professional education system of art design, since it plays an important role in developing students’ artistic appreciation and creative thinking.
Unfortunately, China’s forming foundation curriculum lacks the education of cultural literacy and creativity of the oriental and localized aesthetic system. And from the perspective of today’s cultural competition, the existing education model is not helpful for cultivating creative talents.
The purpose of this research is to make China’s forming foundation curriculum more cultural and creative by applying traditional Chinese Harmonious Aesthetics. In terms of research methods, first, through literature research, the educational objectives, methods, contents, and training programs of forming foundation curriculum in China are clarified, and the concept of Harmonious Aesthetics and its forming elements are clarified. Second, in order to clarify the problems of forming foundation curriculum in China, the representative universities in China and ROK were selected for comparative case analysis. Third, to solve the problem of forming foundation courses, the study extracts the forming elements in Harmonious Aesthetics and constructs a framework for improving the educational curriculum. Fourth, through such framework, the study proposes the improvement plan of the forming foundation curriculum from the aspects of educational objectives, methods, contents, and training programs.First of all, further emphasize the ways of aesthetic expression in educational objectives, and establish the educational objectives of truly expressing students' thoughts. Apply the concept of “phases and continuity” in educational methods. While considering the continuity of the educational process, pay attention to the correlation between different forming trainings. In terms of educational contents, improve the integrity and pluralism of educational contents by fulfilling the requirements of “aesthetic relation”, “integrity” and “pluralism” of Harmonious Aesthetics. In setting training programs, avoid unitary and stereotyped training, and pay attention to the diversity and difference of training contents. It is hoped that this study will play a guiding role in promoting the reform of the forming foundation process.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

기초 조형과정은 예술 디자인 전공의 교육체계에서 중요한 부분으로써 학생들의 예술 감상과 창의적사고를 함양하는 중요한 과정이다. 그러나 현재 중국 기초 조형과정에 있어 동양의 미적 체계에서 비롯된 문화적 소양교육과 창의적 교육관 형성되지 않았으며, 오늘날 문화 경쟁의 관점에서 바라볼 때창의적인 인재 양성에 부합하지 않는다. 따라서 이 연구의 목적은 중국 기초 조형과정을 개선하기 위해 동양적 화합(和合)미학관을 적용하여 현재 교육과정에 문화성과 창의성을 부족한 문제를 해결하는것이다. 연구방법은 첫째, 문헌연구를 통해 중국 기초 조형과정의 교육목표, 교육방법, 교육내용, 훈련프로그램의 내용과 화합미학관의 개념 및 조형 요소를 도출하였다. 둘째, 현재 중국 기초 조형과정의문제점을 파악하기 위해 중국과 한국의 대표사례를 선정하여 비교분석을 진행하였다. 셋째, 기초 조형과정의 문제점을 해결하기 위해 화합미학관에 내포된 조형 요소를 바탕으로 교육과정 개선의 틀을 구성하였다. 넷째, 도출한 틀을 통해 교육목표, 교육방법, 교육내용, 훈련 프로그램 네 가지 방향에서 기초 조형과정 개선방안을 제시하였다. 우선, 교육목표에서 미적 감각의 표현방법을 더욱 강조하여 학생의 생각을 진솔하게 표현하는 교육목표를 세우다, 교육방법에서 ‘단계성과 연속성’의 개념을 적용하여, 교육과정의 연속성을 고려하면서 다른 조형 연습 간의 연관성을 주목해야 한다, 교육내용에서 화합 미학관의 ‘미의 관계성’, ‘전체성’, ‘다원성’의 요구와 결합하여 교육내용의 전체성과 다원성을 중시해야한다, 훈련 프로그램에서는 단일성과 패턴화된 훈련을 피하고, 훈련 내용의 다양성과 차별성을 중시해학생들이 연습에서 새로운 형식, 새로운 영감을 발굴할 수 있도록 해야 한다. 본 연구는 기초 조형과정의 개혁을 추진하는 데 일정한 지도적 역할을 할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.
