유통 물류 산업의 지식재산권 혁신 특성과 시사점 = Characteristics and Implications of Intellectual Property Innovation in the Distribution and Logistics Industry

국문 초록 (Abstract)

최근 첨단 기술의 개발과 기술 환경의 변화로 인해, 유통 물류 산업에서 기술혁신과 무형 자산인 지식재산권의 중요성이 주목받고 있다. 본 연구는 향후 유통 물류 산업에서 지식재산권의 중요성이 높아질 것으로 예측되는 상황에서 유통 물류 산업의 지식재산권을 특허와 상표권을 중심으로 지식재산권 혁신 현황을 분석하고 타 산업과 비교, 분석하였다. 특히 변화하는 유통 물류 산업의 지식재산권을 특허, 상표권을 중심으로유통 물류 산업별 변화를 조사하였다. 유통 물류 산업의 지식재산권 혁신 특성의 유형을 분류하고 도출된 유형에 기반하여 주요 시사점을 도출하였다. 연구 결과 유통 물류 산업의 특허 보유 기업 비율은 타 산업의 3분의 1 수준으로 낮았고, 상표권 보유 기업 비율도 타 산업 대비 낮았다. 특허와 상표권 보유 기업 비율 증가율도모두 타 산업에 비해 낮았으며 이로 인해 격차가 커지고 있었다. 이러한 추세가 유지될 경우 유통 물류 산업은 타 산업보다 특허와 상표권 측면에서 지식재산권 격차가 커질 것으로 예측된다. 유통 물류 산업은 개별 산업별로 지식재산권 기업 비율의 차이가 있었다. 유통 물류 산업 특허 혁신 유형 분석 결과, 4가지 유형의 특성을 가진 것으로 분석되었으며, 유통 물류 산업의 4가지 특허 혁신 유형에 따라 유통 산업별로 특화된 혁신 정책 지원이 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 유통 물류 산업 상표권 혁신 유형 분석 결과 차별화된 특징의 4가지 유형으로 구분되었고, 향후 유통 물류 산업 상표권 혁신 유형을 반영하여 유형별 특화된 유통 물류 산업 혁신 지원 정책이 필요한 것으로 분석되었다. 유통 물류 산업의 지식재산권 중 특허가 상표권보다 타 산업과의 보유기업 격차가 더 크기 때문에 앞으로 유통 물류 산업의 지식재산권 혁신 정책은 상표권보다 특허에 우선순위를 두어야 할 것으로 전망된다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Due to the recent development of advanced technologies and changes in the technological environment, theimportance of technological innovation and intellectual property rights, which are intangible assets, in the distributionand logistics industry is drawing attention. This study analyzed the current status of intellectual property innovation inthe distribution and logistics industry, focusing on patents and trademark rights, and compared and analyzed theintellectual property rights of the distribution and logistics industry. The types of intellectual property innovationcharacteristics of the distribution and logistics industry were classified, and major implications were derived based onthe derived types. As a result of the study, the proportion of patent-holding companies in the distribution and logisticsindustry was as low as one-third of other industries, and the proportion of trademark-holding companies was also lowerthan that of other industries. The rate of increase in the ratio of patent and trademark-holding companies was also lowerthan that of other industries, which widened the gap. If this trend is maintained, the distribution and logistics industryis expected to widen more in terms of patents and trademark rights than other industries. In the distribution and logisticsindustry, there was a difference in the ratio of intellectual property companies for each industry. As a result of theanalysis of patent and trademark innovation types in the distribution and logistics industry, specialized policy supportfor each sub-industry is required based on the intellectual property innovation types and characteristics.
