Since medical science deals with the abnormal symptoms of a physical organism, the study is considered to have been formed naturally on the basis of science. However, Sasang Constitutional medicine emphasizes that the physiology of an organism functions grounded on a nature and feeling, human nature, and thus different physical illnesses originate in disorder of the flow of internal energy by the defective function of a nature and feeling. In other words, medical science is the study treating diseases and a disease originates in the wrong flow of internal energy, which is controlled by a nature and feeling. Therefore, in order to cure a disease, it should be understood what a nature and feeling is, which is the metaphysical being, and how it functions. This paper aims to research a nature and feeling, which is the metaphysical being, its principle of action and the physiology of Sasang Constitutional medicine structured by the metaphysical principle of existence in the learning of Zhouyi. That is to say, this research includes ‘the structure of being of a nature and feeling and its principle of action’, ‘large and small size of internal organs and Sasang constitution depending on the difference of inborn nature and feeling’, ‘the flow of internal energy in the organism’ and so on, based on the interacting principles of Yin and Yang and the Five Elements in the learning of Zhouyi.
