AHP 기법을 활용한 정원문화지수 개발 연구 = A Study of Developing Garden Culture Index Utilizing AHP Analysis

The overall garden culture has been spreading based on the hosting of garden fairs and the promotion of the garden industry. Measuring the asset value of garden culture and preparing criteria for evaluating cultural competitiveness to pursue individual life satisfaction should be treated very importantly. This study is a follow-up study of garden culture indicators and aims to identify the importance of the components that form garden culture, verify the priority of garden culture indicators, and finally develop the garden culture index. As an analysis method, AHP and FGI analyses were conducted, and garden culture indexes that can be applied to different types of gardens (national gardens, local gardens, private gardens, and village community gardens) were developed. As a result of verifying 42 garden culture components obtained through the first and second Delphi surveys of the previous study, five characteristic items and 27 final components related to garden culture were derived from this study. Among the 27 garden cultural indicators, the top components were identified as <sufficiency of space for relaxation>, <accessibility of garden (public transportation, walking), <place utilization for leisure activities>, and <diversity of space for daily garden activities>. These results show that the use of garden space as a daily space help citizens form awareness and promotion of garden culture. This study is of great significance in that it will enable citizens to participate in garden activities on a daily life and lay a sociological foundation for garden creation, and it has derived that garden culture as a daily activity plays an important role in citizens’ healthy lives.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

최근 전국적인 정원박람회 개최와 정원산업에 대한 진흥을 기반으로 총체적 정원문화가 확산되고 있다. 정원과 관련한 문화의 자산가치를 가늠하고, 정원문화의 경쟁력을 창출하며, 개인의 삶의 만족을 추구할 수 있는 문화경쟁력의 평가 기준을 마련하는 것은 정원문화에 대한 현재의 위치를 파악하여 볼 때 매우 중요하게 다루어져야 한다. 본 연구는 정원문화지표 선행연구의 후속연구로써 정원문화를 형성하는 구성요소 간의 상대적 중요도 파악과 정원문화 지표의 우선순위 검증 및 최종적인 정원문화지수 개발에 연구목적을 두고 있다. 분석방법으로 AHP 기법 및 FGI 분석을 실시하였으며, 서로 다른 유형의 정원(국가정원, 지방정원, 민간정원, 마을공동체 정원)에 모두 적용이 가능한 정원문화지수 개발을 하였다. 이전 연구의 1차, 2차 델파이조사를 통해 얻은 42개의 정원문화 구성요소에 대한 검증결과, 정원문화를 형성하는 특성항목 5가지와 정원문화 최종 구성요소 27개를 본 연구에서 도출하였다. 총 27개의 정원문화지표의 우선순위 중 상위에 포진한 구성요소는 휴식을 위한 공간의 적합성, 정원의 접근성(대중교통, 도보), 여가활동을 위한 장소적 활용성, 일상적 정원활동을 위한 공간의 다양성으로 파악되었다. 이러한 결과는 일상공간으로서의 정원공간 활용 및 정원의 이용이 시민들에게 정원문화 인식 및 고취를 형성하는 데 도움을 주는 것을 말해준다. 본 연구는 시민들의 정원문화 참여 및 정원조성을 위한 사회학적 기반 마련을 가능하게 할 것이며, 동시에 일상적 활동으로서의 정원문화가 시민들의 건강한 삶에서 중요한 역할을 하는 것을 도출했다는 점에서 큰 의의를 지닌다.
