일이 건강에 미치는 영향에 대한 불안정 근로자의 인식 특성 = The Perception of Precarious Workers about Ill-health Effect of Work

This study has planned to investigate the perception of precarious workersabout health effect of work in Korea and to analyze related factors that haveinfluenced on the perception of ill-health effect of work. Korean WorkingConditions Survey data done by Occupational Safety and Health Research Institutein 2011 was used with hierarchical logistic regression analysis. The precariousworker has shown higher perception of ill-health effect of their work than that ofstable workers. Among the precarious workers, gender, age, wage, job tenure,occupation, work time pressure, job satisfaction were statistically significant effecton the perception of ill-health effect of work. In future research work aboutsocial and institutional vulnerability of the precarious workers may be suggested.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 불안정 근로자(precarious worker)의 근로환경을 간접적으로 파악할 수 있는 일의 건강영향에 대한 인식 특성과 관련 요인들을 살펴보고자 한다. 따라서 불안정고용 근로자들이 일에 의해서 건강상태에 영향을 받게 되는데 이에 대해서 어떻게 인식하고 있으며, 이와 같은 인식에 어떠한사회환경적인 요인들이 영향을 미치고 있는가를 확인하는 것이 연구의 목적이다. 산업안전보건연구원이 2011년에 실시한 근로환경조사 자료 중에서 고용형태에 관련된 문항을 바탕으로 불안정근로자를추출하여 분석하였다. 일의 건강영향에 대한 인식 수준과 관련 요인들을 파악하기 위하여 사회인구학적 특성, 직업적 특성, 작업 특성 및 만족도 문항들을 포함한 위계적 로지스틱 회귀분석 방법을 이용하였다. 일이 건강에 영향을 미친다는 불안정 근로자들의 인식 수준에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 분석한 결과 성, 연령, 임금수준, 근속기간, 직종, 업무 마감 압박, 업무 관련 제반 만족도 등이 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 향후 불안정 근로자의 건강보호를 위해서는 근로환경 개선을 위한 노력이 필요하며 이를 위한 근로자들의 인식 변화를 위한 개입 전략과 사회적 제도적 취약성에 대한 추가 연구가 필요할 것으로 생각된다.
