      The purpose of this study is to propose an AI convergence curriculum for elementary Korean language classes to foster AI literacy. As the ability to utilize AI platforms and communicate with AI is important to foster future social competencies, AI literacy education should be provided from the elementary school stage.
      This study reviewed the concept of AI literacy and related studies on AI convergence education to see if it is possible to foster AI literacy in the elementary school curriculum and to consider how AI convergence education can be implemented in the national language curriculum. The study examined the elements of AI literacy through a review of curriculum and literature to design AI literacy lessons in elementary Korean, and examined step-by-step AI literacy application units in Korean language textbooks. Based on this, we proposed a content system of AI literacy lessons for AI convergence education in Korean language departments.
