관세인하가 생산성에 미치는 영향에 대한 일반균형분석 : 아시아 5개국을 중심으로 = Computable General Equilibrium Analysis for the Impact of Tariff Reduction on Productivity: Focusing on 5 Asian Countries

국문 초록 (Abstract)

관세인하가 생산성에 미치는 영향은 각 나라 제조업의 수준, 수입 중간재 활용현황, 산업 간의 연관 관계 및 생산유발, GDP 대비 수출 및 수입에 대한 의존성 등 국가별 서로 상이한 특징에 의하여 달라질 수 있다. 따라서 수출 혹은 수입 요인이 관세인하에 따른 생산성 향상에 이바지한다는 단편적 접근으로는 생산성 변화요인을 충분히 설명하지 못할 수 있다. 이에 본 연구는 아시아 5개국을 대상으로 관세인하가 어떤 경로로 국가별 생산성 변화에 영향을 주는가를 밝히는 데 목적이 있다. 본 연구는 일반균형분석을 통해 관세인하에 따른 산업간 생산요소의 이동, 생산 및 수출의 변화, 수입 및 국내 가격 변화 등을 추정하였다. 그리고 추정된 결과 및 국가별 지표를 토대로 국가·산업별 생산성 증감 여부 및 변화요인을 설명하였다는데 의의가 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The main channels on which tariff reductions affect productivity can be determined by different characteristics of each country, such as the level of manufacturing industry, the share of imported intermediate goods, the inter-relationship between industries and production inducement, and overseas dependence, etc. The purpose of this study is to find out how tariff cuts affect industry-level productivity in 5 Asian countries. Through CGE analysis, we estimated the inter-industry reallocation of production factors, changes in production, exports, imports, import price, and domestic prices. This study is meaningful to explain whether the productivity increase or decrease by country and industry, and how it changed by country, based on the estimated results and national indicators.
