청소년의 또래 소외감이 휴대전화 의존에 미치는 영향 = The influence of peer alienation on mobile phone dependency among adolescents: Focus on the mediating effect of depression

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 목적은 청소년의 또래 소외감이 휴대전화 의존에 미치는 영향을 우울의 매개효과를 중심으로 분석하는 것이다. 이를 위해 한국아동 · 청소년패널조사(KCYPS) 초등학교 4학년 7차년도(2016년) 조사자료의 1,919명 데이터를 활용하여 청소년의 또래 소외감이 휴대전화 의존에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았다. 다음으로, 두 변인 간의 관계에서 우울의 매개효과를 검증하기 위해 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하였으며, 매개효과가 유의한지 살펴보기 위해 Sobel-test를 하였다. 분석결과, 청소년의 또래 소외감은 휴대전화 의존에 정적으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 청소년의 또래 소외감이 휴대전화 의존에 영향을 미치는데 있어서 우울의 부분 매개효과가 검증되었다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 본 연구의 함의와 제언을 논의하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to examine the mediating effect of depression in the relationship between peer alienation and mobile phone dependency among adolescents. The participants were 1,919 elementary students, with data taken from the 7<SUP>th</SUP> year (2016) Korean Children and Youth Panel Survey. A hierarchical regression analysis was conducted to examine the mediating effect of depression in the relationship between peer Alienation and mobile phone dependency among adolescents. In addition, a Sobel-test was used to examine the mediating effect. The findings were as follows. First, peer alienation was found to have positive impact on the life mobile phone dependency. Second, partial mediating effect of depression was found in the relationship between peer alienation and mobile phone dependency. Based on these result, suggestions and implications were provided.
