도계 공정 시스템의 문제점 분석 및 개선 방안 연구 = Problem analysis of chicken slaughtering process system and study of improvement plan

In order to operate chicken slaughtering process system, various facilities shall be constructed, and main facilities are constituted with chicken slaughtering process facility and supporting facility. The chicken slaughtering process facility can be divided into automatic live chicken inputting process, killing process, internal organs removing process, cooling process, automatic sorting process, and randering process, and supporting facility can be divided into air compressing facility, boiler facility, air conditioning & refrigerating facility, vehicle disinfecting facility, and draining facility.
Recently, there are many companies which expand the chicken slaughterhouse, however, if the work is conducted in a short period of time without sufficient design and examination, there will be the occasions of erroneous or omitted construction, and as a matter of fact, additional cost is generated due to the damage and deterioration caused by improper operation of facility or handling by worker. In addition, there are the cases that problem will be occurred later due to the insufficiency of technical capability of technician participated to the expansion of chicken slaughterhouse. On account of these problems, this study is performed to have a contribution, however small it may be though, for constructing and operating the chicken slaughtering facility in the future by studying the problems for the facilities required for the expansion of chicken slaughterhouse and illustrating the related examples.

In this study, the portion from which problems were occurred while conducting the maintenance for 2 years for the facilities of a company which was expanded recently is investigated, and the facilities to be improved right now and the facilities to be constructed additionally are presented. In conclusion, the problems for the chicken slaughtering process facility and supporting facility shall be minimized by the supervision and inspection of manager from the initial expansion stage of factory, and continuous management and inspection shall be conducted so that the budget of company will not be wasted.
