      On the basis of succeeding the predecessors' aesthetic concept, Wang Shi-zhen first put forward "the theory of romantic charm". The primary aesthetic connotation of his theory is as follows : 1. Poems should render the reader a feeling of tranquility and relaxation ; 2. the theory of reservation ; 3. poems should be unaffectedly easy and natural ; 4. theory of sudden perception. In accordance with the request to change the poetic styles in the early Qing Dynasty, Wang Shi-zhen's theory of romantic charm greatly influenced the poetic creation.
