초등 예비교사의 동시대 미술 감상 역량을 위한 미술관 경험 연구 = A Study on the Museum Experience for the Contemporary Art Appreciation Competency of Elementary School Preliminary Teachers

This study aims to strengthen art education as a subject of schools with the aim of improving school art education. In particular, the experience and competency of contemporary art appreciation are emphasized for human understanding living in the present. To this end, this study aims to examine the experience of art museums with the aim of improving the competency of elementary school preliminary teachers to appreciate contemporary art. By examining the results, the direction of contemporary art appreciation and art education is presented. In the consideration of elementary school preliminary teachers, it can be seen that contemporary art has a common perception that individual expressions cannot be alienated from society and focuses on communicating with the audience and society while converging across various fields. And it was found that the museum experience is an essential process for cultivating the cultural sensitivity, convergent thinking ability, creative media use, and the ability to explore social issues of elementary school preliminary teachers to contemporary art. Through the experience study of elementary school preliminary teachers, it is expected that positive effects for the revitalization of school art education in the future.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 한국 미술교육 활성화를 위한 거시적 관점에서 학교의 예술교육 강화에 기여하고자, 특히 현재를 살아가는 인간 이해를 위해 동시대 미술 감상 경험과 능력을 중시한다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 초등 예비교사의 동시대 미술 감상 역량의 향상을 목적으로 미술관 경험에 대해 살펴보고자 한다. 미술관 관람 경험에 대한 실증적이며 실천적 관점의 연구로서 초등 예비교사의 미술관 경험을 조사하고 그 결과를 고찰하여 동시대 미술 감상 및 미술교육의 방향성을 제시한다. 초등 예비교사들의 고찰에서 동시대 미술은 다원주의적 패러다임 및 사회문제에 대한 비판적 시각과 문제 의식, 예술가의 사회 참여를 공유한다는 것, 새로운 시각과 생각의 힘을 길러 미래 세대를 가르칠 예비 교사 교육에서 중요하게 인식되었음을 알 수 있었다. 그리고 미술관 경험은 동시대 미술의 사회 참여적 성격의 인식과 융합적 접근의 가능성, 스스로 예술가가 되는 창의적 경험 등 공감각적이고 창의적 사고, 문화적 감성과 역량을 함양하는데 필수적인 과정으로서, 적극적인 참여가 필요함을 알 수 있었다. 초등 예비교사의 경험 연구를 통해 향후 학교 미술교육 활성화를 위하여 긍정적인 효과를 기대할 수 있을 것으로 본다.
