부산광역시 지식서비스업 창업의 입지결정 요인분석 = An Analysis of Locational Determinants for Knowledge Services Startups in Busan

국문 초록 (Abstract)

지식기반경제가 진전됨에 따라 우리나라에서는 지식서비스업 창업의 필요성과 중요성이 지속적으로 높아지고있다. 창업은 특정지역에 국지적으로 발생하는 특성을 가지고 있다. 이와 같은 창업의 공간적 불균형은 지역경제 격차를 심화시키는 요인으로 작용하고 있어 창업의 입지요인에 대한 이해는 매우 중요하다고 할 수 있다. 따라서 본연구는 부산광역시를 대상으로 지식서비스업 창업의 입지결정 요인을 실증 분석함으로써 향후 지식서비스업 창업활성화 정책 수립의 기초자료를 제공하고자 한다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 부산광역시 지식서비스업 창업현황을읍･면･동 단위로 구축하였다. 지식서비스업은 그 특성에 따라 네 가지로 유형화하여, 지식서비스업 유형별 창업 입지결정 요인을 다중회귀분석을 통해 도출하였다. 분석결과, 모든 유형별 지식서비스업 창업에 있어 산업 집적도가가장 중요한 입지결정 요인으로 도출되었다. 또한, 경제성장률과 대중교통 접근성도 중요한 요인으로 작용하는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 지식서비스업 창업 기업들이 관련 산업이 집적되어 있고, 경제성장률이 높아 지역경제 활력도가 우수하며 대중교통 접근성이 뛰어난 지역을 선호함을 의미한다. 한편, 지식서비스업 유형별 창업에 영향을 미치는 요인이 동일하지 않고 이들에 대한 중요성의 순위가 상이한 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 지식서비스업 창업활성화를 위한 정책은 지식서비스업 유형별로 창업에 영향을 미치는 요인과 이들의 중요성을 고려하여 차별적으로접근해야 함을 시사한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

As the knowledge-based economy progresses, the necessity and importance of knowledge service startups are gradually increasing in Korea. This study aims to empirically analyze locational determinants of knowledge services startups in Busan. To this end, the knowledge service startups data of Busan were constructed in units of Eup-Myeon-Dong in this study. The knowledge service industry was categorized into four types according to its characteristics, and locational determinants of startups were analyzed through multiple regression model for each type. The summary of results is as follows. In all types of knowledge service business startups, the level of industrial accumulation was identified as the most important locational determinants. In addition, the economic growth rate and accessibility to public transportation were also found to play an important role in the location factors. These results imply that knowledge service startups prefer regions where related industries are concentrated, economic growth rate is high, and accessibility to public transportation is excellent. On the other hand, the location factors for startups by type of knowledge service industry were not the same, and the rankings of their importance were found to be different. These results imply that the knowledge service startups revitalization policy should be approached differently for each type of knowledge service, taking into account the locational determinants affecting business start-up and their importance.
