잠재프로파일 분석을 통한 유자녀 부부의 일가정양립 유형의 변화와 관련 요인 분석 - 근로, 가사노동, 돌봄의 역할 분배를 중심으로 - = How do Korean Married Couples with Children Divide Labor between Work, Household Chores, and Family Care? - Analysis of Work-Family Balance Subtypes and Associated Factors Using Latent Profile -

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 한국 유자녀 부부의 일가정양립 하위유형과 관련 요인을 파악하고자 2009년과 2019년 생활시간조사 자료(2,560커플, 2,423커플)를 이용하여 유급노동인 아내와 남편의 근로시간, 무급노동 인 부부의 가사와 돌봄 분담률을 기반으로 잠재프로파일분석을 실시하였다. 특히 본 연구는 일가정양립 유형이 아내의 상대적 소득력과 관련이 있는지 분석하였다. 분석 결과 두 연도 모두 3개의 하위유형이 도출되었다(2009년 “남편 근로, 아내 가사돌봄 전담(79.73%)”, “남편 근로, 아내 가사 전담, 부부 돌봄 분담(11.41%)”, “아내 근로, 부부 가사 분담, 남편 돌봄 전담(8.87%)”, 2019년 “남편 근로, 아내 가사돌봄 전담(46.68%)”, “공동근로, 아내 가사돌봄 전담(44.61%)”, “아내 근로, 부부 가사돌봄 분담(8.71%)” 유형). 하위유형 소속은 아내의 상대적 소득과 유의미하게 관련 있었고, 기타 관련 요인 으로는 남편의 성역할인식, 미취학자녀 유무 등이 있었다. 한국 유자녀 부부의 일가족양립 형태의 변화 와 이론적 함의를 논의하였다.

This paper analysed subtypes of work-family balance among married couples with children in South Korea and associated factors using data from the 2009 and 2019 Time Use Surveys. We conducted latent profile analysis for married couples of 2,560 in 2009 and 2,423 couples in 2019 respectively. Paid labor was defined by the working hours of both the wife and husband, while unpaid labor was determined by the division of household and family care within the couple. We particularly examined if the profile membership were associated with women's relative income. The analysis resulted in three subtypes for both years: in 2009 "Husband's work, wife's exclusive household and care duties (79.73%)", "Husband's work, wife's household duties, shared care (11.41%)", "Wife's work, shared household duties, husband's exclusive care duties (8.87%). In 2019, they are "Husband's work, wife's exclusive household and care duties (46.68%)", "Dual employment, wife's exclusive household and care duties (44.61%)", and "Wife's work, shared household and care duties (8.71%)". The subtype membership was related with the wife's relative income. Other associated factors include husbands' gender-role ideology, presence of preschool children. We discussed the chances in the subtypes of work family balance and theoretical implications.
