Recently, many researchers have been extensively interested on the energy and environmental applications for next-generation energy sources and various environmental issue. First, the nanostructured metal oxides have been widely used for semiconductors, catalysts and other optoelectronic applications. A solution process provides facile and simple methods for the nanostructured metal oxide to get an engineered hierarchical nanostructure for energy generation. Meanwhile, metal nanowire percolation network has been studied as a very promising transparent conductor. The Ag nanowire percolation network is demonstrated as a transparent, reusable, and active PM2.5 air filter for the first time. The proposed Ag filter enables high PM removal efficient, transparent, low power consumption, and reusable after simple washing. As a result, several fundamental concepts from this study fabricated by the nanostructured inorganic materials would anticipate inspirations to the related research areas.
