Diesel engine in the best energy efficient engine among internal combustion engines. While there are advantages on fuel economy and low greenhouse gas emission because of the high energy efficient engine, there are disadvantages such as noise, rate power reduction, nitrogen oxide compound, particulate matter and so on. Currently, common rail direct injection was applied in most diesel vehicles to improve ride quality by noise reduction and fuel atomizing performance to counteract to heightened emission regulation. Highly purified fuel supply is required in common rail direct injection because of high pressure fuel injection method using the fine nozzle. Also, a high effcience fuel filters are required to satisfy this method. However, because of the typical diesel fuel problem; paraffin waxing in low temperature, there is a high probability of engine start problem. Applying heater inside of fuel filter should improve fuel fluidity and engine ignition under low temperature. The purpose of this study is that the diesel fluidity improvement by filter heater performance affects to fuel fluidity.
