      다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

      This study conducted individual in-depth interviews with six research participants who are current school teachers and Sunday school teachers at a church located in Busan to find out their basic perceptions and needs regarding Sunday school operation. As a result of the study, 7 categories and 14 subcategories were derived from the research subjects' basic perception of Sunday school, and 2 categories and 6 subcategories were derived from the research subjects' demands for church Sunday school. Based on these research results, two major implications are as follows. First, in order to improve church Sunday school education, the active participation and cooperation of Christian school teachers as Sunday school teachers is necessary. Second, in order to revitalize the church's Sunday school, the senior pastor's active pastoral philosophy toward Sunday school and the cultivation of the pedagogical capabilities and qualifications of Sunday school assistant pastors seem to be very important factors.
