The effects of Mwahanmworu Exercise on the amount of AS, PI, IN EX-ilium misalignment was examined in a controlled study. A group of ten people volunteered to participate in the study. All ten members had some trouble in the backbone and lumbago, and they had also incorrect posture. Taking X-rays, these all problems were turned out by misaligned pelvis.
None of the ten subjects had any history of deformation, fracture, and arthritis in the ankle, knee, or pelvis, nor any of them had undergone any surgery related to the backbone or lumbago.
The subjects performed 60-minute Mwahanmworu routines once every weekday for twenty consecutive weeks. The amount of pelvis misalignment was measured prior to the exercise program and also after that for statistical analysis within the same group. An analysis was performed using SPSS software package (Version 9.0) to evaluate the statistical significance of the findings.
The results show a significant reduction in the amount of AS, PI, IN, EX-ilium misalignments after the Mwahanmworu exercise program (P < 0.05).
It is concluded that Mwahanmworu exercise has a significant corrective effect on pelvis misalignment, and may be used as a preventive means for other problems in the backbone or lumbago.
