양성평등 수학 학습 프로그램 개발에 관한 이론적 고찰 = Feminist Perspectives on the Development of a Gender-Neutral Mathematics Program

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 양성평등을 추구하는 수학학습 프로그램 개발 연구의 일환으로서, 수학 학습 프로그램의 구성 원리와 개발방안에 대한 논의를 제공한다. 여성학적 관점에서 볼 때, 수학에서 나타나는 성별차이는 남성지배적인 수학 문화 속에서 파생된 여성의 수학은 여성의 수학적 역량에 대한 왜곡된 이해이다. 나아가 남성지배적인 수학 문화를 수용하는 학교수학은 여성의 수학적 역량을 공정하게 평가할 수 없으며 그들의 수학적 성숙을 촉진하기에 근원적인 문제점을 가지고 있다는 비판을 받는다. 이러한 관점에서, 본 연구는 여성학적 인식론과 교수법에 기반한 양성평등 수학학습 프로그램을 개발하여 여학생의 수학 참여를 증진하고 자신의 수학적 역량을 재발견할 수 있는 학습 기회를 제공하여 수학 관련 분야에서 여성 전문 인력을 양성하고 나아가 현대 사회에서의 여성의 삶의 질적 향상 및 사회적 지위향상이라는 장기적인 목표를 추구한다.
