The roof is covered with male·female rooftiles fired in the kiln. The rooftiles are made of the spun clay plate(mixed with sand ) which have been dried wall in the outside. To know the properties of the rooftile made by traditional way, specific gravity and XRD(X-Ray Diffraction) are used. Specific gravity of the rooftile made by traditional way is the higher, 2.612g/cc, than the pottery of earthenware, that's why there are much elaborated SiO₂. ein the rooftile made by traditional way. The rooftile fired in the traditional kiln has more SiO₃, Al₂O₃ than fired in the modern oil kiln, so we can guess that the rooftile by traditional way are much more strong. Leucite is analysed out in the traditional rooftile, which shows the traditional rooftile fired over 1,.100℃ temperature, but the rooftile fired in the modern oil kiln is analysed out not luecite(K₂O·Al₂O₃·4SiO₂) but quartz.
