Fetishism can be said to be a voyeuristic act that enjoys sexual excitement or taboo beauty of the human body under certain control through a fetish object. The psychological desire derived from these human perverse symptoms has been stimulating the human spirit for a long time, in harmony with the ascetic culture of the Middle Ages and the worship of objects. In particular, this study examines the characteristics of American fetish comic books and examines the process of how fetishism appeared in American comic books was expressed, focusing on the works of Eric Stanton (1926~1999), a symbol of American bondage comics.
