공업계 고등학생들의 환경문제와 환경보전 의식 함양에 관한 연구 : 군표 안양 지역 중심으로

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 군포·안양지역 공업계고등학교 학생들의 수질오염에 대한 의식을 중심으로 환경교육을 위하여 환경문제에 대한 일반적인 관심도, 환경오염 문제, 환경오염 참여 의식, 수자원 보호, 폐수처리 분석에 대한 인식을 알아보았다. 본 연구를 위해 군포·안양지역 공업계고등학교 2∼3학년 271명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 설문조사 내용을 요약하면 21세기 우리나라의 가장 중요한 문제는 환경문제이며 환경문제에 있어서 특히 수질오염, 수자원부족을 심각하게 인식하고 있었으며 대부분의 학생들이 환경오염의 피해를 받고 있는 것으로 인식하고 있었다. 환경오염을 일으키는 주체와 해결주체는 각자 자신이라는 응답으로 환경오염에 대한 인식은 높았으나, 각자 솔선수범하여 환경오염방지를 위해 실천하려는 의지는 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 환경에 대한 정보 습득은 방송을 통해 얻는다는 응답이 많은 것으로 보아 매스컴 홍보가 환경오염 방지에 효과적이라고 생각되었다. 효과적인 환경교육의 방법에 대해서는 초·중등학교에서 환경을 필수과목으로 학습하도록 하고 이론보다는 실습위주의 체험 학습하도록 하며 다양한 환경 교육 프로그램과 환경교육 자료가 개발되어야 할
것으로 인식되었다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors that influence the consciousness of waste pollution and environmental education for the technical high school students in the Kunpo-Anyang area.
In the present work, survey has been conducted on the general interest c student about current environmental problems and preservation, contamination of water resources, analysis of wastewater, etc.
The suvey result revealed that: first, the students realized that the environmental problem is the most important issue in the 21st century. The students are also concerned about water pollution and insufficiency of water resources, and most peoples are suffering from the environmental damage caused by the wide range of pollution.
Second, most of students think that the environmental problems could be solved by themselves, and it is also show that they have an environmentally-conscious attitude. However, their action is not enough to solve the environmental problems in current state.
Third, students are usually collect the information regarding environmental problems mainly through the news media including television, newspapers, etc.
It can be concluded that in order to teach the environmental education effectively, the environmental subject should be included to regular school courses to enhance their attitude on environmental situation. In addition, the subject should be covered laboratory and field tests on wastewater treatment, measurement of air pollution materials, and other special topics. It is also desired that education programs and materials should be developed to meet various requirements in the future.
