무령왕릉 출토 관식(冠飾)의 상징성과 미적특성 연구 = A Study on the Symbolism and the Esthetic Features of the Diadem of King Muryeong's tomb

국문 초록 (Abstract)

백제의 관식은 백제의 계급의 차이에 따른 의복제도에 따라 그 형태와 재질이 다르다. 대표적인 관식으로는 무령왕릉에 서 출토된 금제 관식과 각 지방에서 출토된 은제 관식이 있다. 관식은 백제의 종교적 상징성과 미감을 내포하고 있다.
무령왕릉에서 출토된 금제 관식은 연꽃과 잎으로 이루어져 있으며 전체 형상은 불꽃모양을 하고 있어 불상의 광배와 비 슷하다. 이러한 관식의 형태와 구성에는 백제인의 왕권의 권위와 현세에서의 정토실현과 내세에서의 극락왕생을 바라는 불교적인 염원이 내포되어 있다. 또한 이 금제 뒤꽂이는 새의 날개형상을 띠고 있어 신라관식과의 연관성을 찾아볼 수 있다. 이것은 북방민족의 샤머니즘인 조류숭배사상의 반영으로 풍요와 자손번창을 기원하는 의미를 담고 있다. 왕의
관식의 이러한 형상은 하늘과 땅을 연결하는 메신저로서 왕권을 상징하고 그 권위의식을 나타내고 있다. 관식과 뒤꽂이는 불교와 샤머니즘，건국신화 등이 혼합되어 있는 상징물로서 여러 가지 의미가 내포되어 있다. 백제 관식은 자연모티브에서 온 곡선의 자연미와 자연과 인간이 합일되고 능숙한 경지가 무르익은 노련미，종교적으로 정제된 내용에서 오는 상정미와 고도의 조형미를 느낄 수 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The baekje diadems have different figures and mat erials according to the cloth system based on the hier archical class sys tem. The gold diadem exc avated in the king Muryeong's tomb and the silver diadem excava ted at the many dist rict s are regarded as the representative diadem. The diadem shows the religious symbolism and esthetic sense of baekje. The gold diadem excavated in the king Muryeongs tomb consists of lotu s flower s and
leaves. The whole shape looking like a flame is similar to the aureo le of the buddha. In the shape and the constitution of such diadem are included roya lty of king and the buddhistic desires of the baekje people. that is the realization of the pure land in this world and the easy passage into the eternity in the future world.
Furthermore, the gold chignon ornament having a shape of the wings of the bird shows the relevance with the shinla diadem. Thi s mean s the desire of the richn es s and descendants prosperi ty. and it reflects the birds wor ship which is the shamanism of the north ern race. The shape of a king diadem symbolize the sovereign power as a messenger connecting the sky and th e earth and shows its authority consc iousnes s. The diadem and the rear stitcher , as a symbol in which the buddhism, shamanism and the birth myth of a nation are mixed, has
severa l meanings. The baekje diad em shows th e natural beau ty of the curve from the natural motive and the
ex perienced beauty which th e combination of th e nature and th e people shows and the symbolic beauty from
the re lig ious purified co nte nt s and th e high level of th e forma tive beauty.
