There are two Gaebul(掛佛幀) made at Tongdo-temple in 1767 and 1792. They have iconography thing in common expressed Buddha to sanctify the body(莊嚴身) has unique outlook which is look like Bodhisattva with crown and hold the flower even though They have expenssive difference detail. According to studies, this iconography mean to represent a another body of Sakya-muni(報身) as the Buddha to sanctify the body with being have faith in the Buddha to do an act of charity the body(功德身) Sakyamuni. The Gaebul record of remake at Tongdo-temple(通度寺改成掛佛記) was recorded Gold Sakyamuni statue of jangyuk(丈六). this record support the representation of iconography and the iconography, Buddha is holding the flower represent Mahaka-`syapa(迦葉) smiled when he saw the Buddha hold up a flower`(沾花示衆). this is undersand the union of Zen sect and Doctrinism of Buddhism point of view but, we need to think to represent another body of Sakyamuni as incarnation(化身佛) Through the name of painters recorded on Buddhist Painting(畵記) at Tongdo-temp-le We can Know that Doohoon(두薰) and Jiyeoun(指演), not imhan`s group, the chief of painters who supervised to make Gaebul painting in Tongdo-temple were brought from other region The participation of new painters have relation to work main Buddhist service that is to remake statue and to paint colorfully in Tongdo-temple after Japanese invasion of Korea in 1592. Gaebul at Tongdo-temple in 1767 was made Under Doohoon(두薰) the chief of pai-nters. He acted around Gangwon-Do and Chungcheong-Do and of his to work Buddhist service, paint colorfully at Tongdo-temple in 1759 was serves as a mom-entum relation to make Gaebul painting at it in 1767. We can Know that Jiyeon also the chief of painters who supervised to be made Gaebul Painting at tongdo-temple in 1792 take part in repairing Youngsanjun, the Buddhist Service of paint colorfully, etc. We can unerstand to appear new painters through the Buddhist Service of paint co-lorfully attribute to need many painter for working painter colorfully to be short of only painters of neighboring area After Gaebul Painting make at tongdo-temple in 1767, to make again new Gaebul without the deference of iconography is possible to be continuous with making painting group to be Jiyeon as a chief of painters debut in Tongdo-temple. At this time, Because the Buddhist Serves about Buddhist Painting of a royal palace in Tongdo-temple finished almost, painters is not so short of number. Therefore Jiyeon`s group took part in Buddhist Service of painting colorfully for extending their`s power be able to make new Buddhist Service like Gaebul. This fact can make sure that Bodhisattva Triad Painting was recorded Ilbongdang(日峯堂) woomin(遇旻) as one of offering only alone, according to record of SeJon`s monument house was noted as Painter. and jiyeon, chief of painters also hold na additional post whaju(化主) of Gaebul made oneself.
