중국의 평화적 발전과 지역 협력 외교 = China’s ‘Peaceful Rise’ and Regional Cooperative Diplomacy

국문 초록 (Abstract)

중국의 평화적 발전은 아시아태평양지역의 평화와 안정에 매우 건설적인 의미가 있다. 국제문제와 지역문제를 다루는 데 있어서 중국의 역할과 위상이 꾸준히 높아지고 있는 것은 중국 “협력외교”가 성공하고 있다는 반증이다. 아시아태평양지역에서의 안보질서 건설은 중국의 평화적 발전에 도움이 된다. 경제협력과 자유무역을 통한 지역 경제 통합은 의미도 중요하지만, 중국의 평화적 발전과 아시아태평양지역의 안보질서 건설에 주요 모태가 될 수도 있다. 중국의 평화적 발전과 협력 외교는 과거의 중국을 현대의 중국으로 재구성하고 변모하게 하며, 이는 아시아태평양지역의 정치경제적 안보를 유지하는데 보다 많은 중국의 역할을 필요로 하게 될 것이다.

China’s peaceful rise is conducive to the peace and stability of Asia and Pacific regions. The steady rise of China’s position and role in dealing with international and regional problems proves China’s success in “cooperative diplomacy.” To construct the security order in the Asia-Pacific region provides important guarantee to China’s peaceful rise. The regional economic integrity by way of the important means of economic
cooperation and free trade is an important route to guarantee China’s peaceful rise and construct the security order in the Asia-Pacific region. China’s peaceful rise and the “cooperative diplomacy” is the collective embodiment of the modern transformation and restructuring of China’s traditional strategic culture, which will greatly guarantee China’s role in maintaining the political and economic security of the Asia-Pacific region.
