위험회피 기질이 우울에 미치는 영향: 불안정 성인애착의 매개효과와 인지적 유연성의 조절효과를 중심으로 = The Effect of Harm Avoidance on Depression symptoms : Focusing on Mediating Effect of Adult Attachment and Moderating Effect of Cognitive Flexibility

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 19세 이상 성인남녀를 대상으로 위험회피 기질과 우울의 관계에서 불안정 성인애착의 매개효과를 살펴보고 위험회피 기질이 우울에 미치는 직접경로와 불안정 성인애착을 통한 간접경로에서 인지적 유연성의 조절효과를 확인하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 만 19세 이상 성인남녀 384명을 대상으로 위험회피 기질 측정을 위한 성인용 기질 및 성격검사(TCI-RS), 우울척도(BDI-Ⅱ), 성인애착 척도(ECR-R), 인지적 유연성 척도(CFI)를 사용하여 설문조사를 하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 18과 SPSS PROCESS MACRO 2.13을 사용하여 분석하였다.
본 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 위험회피 기질, 불안정 성인애착, 우울 간에는 유의한 정적상관이 있었고, 인지적 유연성은 위험회피 기질, 불안정 성인애착, 우울과 유의한 부적상관을 보였다. 둘째, 위험회피 기질과 우울의 관계에서 불안정 성인애착은 부분매개효과를 가졌다. 셋째, 위험회피 기질이 우울에 미치는 직접경로에서 인지적 유연성은 통계적으로 유의한 조절효과를 보였다. 넷째, 위험회피 기질이 불안정 성인애착을 통해 우울에 영향을 미치는 간접경로에서 인지적 유연성은 유의한 조절효과를 보였다.
이와 같은 연구 결과는 우울취약성의 발달과 관련된 요인들에 대한 이해를 향상시키고 나아가 기질적 취약성으로 인한 우울한 환자들의 치료에 애착 및 기질을 평가하는 것의 중요성을 시사한다. 끝으로 본 연구에서의 시사점 및 후속연구에 대한 제언을 하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to examine the mediating effect of Adult Attachment on the relations of Harm Avoidance and Depression symptoms. and to find out the moderated effect of Cognitive Flexibility that are assumed to operate on the where Harm Avoidance has direct effect on Depression symptoms and to operate on a mediated indirect path that Adult Attachment. 384 adults aged over 19 years participated in the survery for this study, and all of each participant were subject to Beck Depression Inventory (BDI-Ⅱ), The Temperament and Character Inventory (TCI-RS), Experience in Close Relationship-Revised (ECR-R), and Cognitive Flexibility Inventory (CFI). SPSS 18 and SPSS PROCESS Macro 2.13 are used to analyze the collected data.
The main results of the study are summarize as follows: First, there were significant positive correlations between Harm Avoidance, Adult Attachment, Depression symptoms and Cognitive Flexibility showed a significant negative correlation with Harm Avoidance, Adult Attachment, Depression symptoms. Second, Adult Attachment partially mediated the relation between Harm Avoidance and Depression symptoms. In other words, it is cerified that not only Harm Avoidance has direct effect on Depression symptoms, it also has indirect effect through Experiential Avoidance. Third, Cognitive Flexibility had significant moderating effect within the relationship of Harm Avoidance and Depression symptoms. Forth, Cognitive Flexibility had significant moderating effect within the relationship of Adult Attachment and Depression symptoms.
These findings suggest the importance of improving the understanding of factors related to the development of depressive vulnerability and further assessing attachment and temperament in the treatment of depressed patients due to temperamental vulnerability. In addition, this implication and suggestions for future research are provided.
