방송의 사회통합 기능 수행 방안 연구 : 노무현 정부의 국민통합시대 선언을 중심으로 = A Study of Broadcasting Function for Society Consensus : Focused on the Declaration of Nation Unity by Noh Mu Hyun Government

This study was conducted to examine the activation of the broadcasting function for society consensus, which the new government laid great emphasis on. For the broadcasting function for society consensus, several suggestions have been made as follows: development of local broadcasting, development of programs for minority group, development of talk programs, activation of ombudsman programs, protection of audience rights, activation of mutual criticism programs among media and improvement of broadcasting regulation for program quality.
Considering that the new government is aimed at achieving nation unity, it is critical to activate the broadcasting function for society consensus. Therefore, all people including broadcasting company, government and audience should cooperate in carrying out this goal.
