외도를 한 중년부인에 대한 가족치료 사례연구 = A Case Study on Family Therapy for A Middle-aged Wife with Infidelity Problem

The purpose of the study was to find factors that had influence on infidelity. This study also attempted to discover factors that influenced positive marital relationship. The total 20 sessions of family counseling continued from January, 2002 to December, 2002. The researcher repeated consistent comparison to find out redundant concepts in this case. The therapist employed as therapeutic models the MRI's interactional model and Murray Bowen's family systems model in order to treat the family. Based on these two models, the researcher focused on two major common concepts such as undifferentiation of self and communication problem to analyze factors that affected infidelity. As a result of intervention the client experienced the differentiation of self and changed pattern of communication. With these two factors being changed negative marital relationship turned into positive one. This case study showed the utility of both MRI model and Murray Bowen's family systems model as appropriate models for Korean couples' infidelity case.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 외도를 한 중년부인에 대하여 남편이 치료를 의뢰한 사례로서 치료자는 부부 및 가족치료를 중심으로 치료를 진행하였다. 치료자는 2002년 1월부터 2002년 12월까지 총 20회를 상담하였으며, 개별상담, 부부상담, 가족상담을 실시하였다. 한편, 치료자는 MRI의 상호작용주의적 모델에서 주로 보는 의사소통문제와 Murray Bowen의 가족체계이론에서 중점을 두는 자아분화 문제를 중심으로 치료를 하였다. 따라서 연구자는 이 두 가지 모델의 중심적인 개념을 중심으로 외도에 영향을 미친 요인들과 상담 후 부부관계의 변화에 영향을 미친 요인들을 발견하고자 하였으며, 두 가족치료모델의 효과성을 보고자 하였다.
