COVID-19 팬데믹에 대한 지역별 영향 차이와 정부 지원정책의 효과성에 관한 연구 = A Study on the Regional Difference in Impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study analyzed the regional difference in impact of the COVID-19 in several countries(Korea, China, Japan, USA, UK, Italy), at least at the beginning of the Pandemic. Specifically, it investigated the changes of daily or work life, employment, income or expenditure, happiness, etc. of individuals, and looked at the effectiveness of government support policies for the damage.
The results of the analysis showed that ‘women’, ‘the low-age’, ‘the self-employed’, ‘low-income earners’, and ‘urban dwellers’ have relatively large damaged in 6 countries. Also, especially in Korea compared to other countries, it found that at least ‘low-income earners’ and ‘the self-employed’ have relatively more damaged. This suggests that the national support policy needs to focus more on at least the real damaged parts.
