Despite the successful result of medical therapy for pulmonary tuberculosis, resistance to drugs and complications of the disease still present a challenge. Although a bronchopleural (bronchopulmonary) fistula is the most common type of various fistula complications, bronchial fistulas caused by pulmonary tuberculosis are rare complications. Moreover, to our knowledge, fistula between the bronchus and lung parenchyma in drug resistant tuberculosis has not been previously reported. Here, we report a case of fistula between left bronchus and lung parenchyma in a-68-old female patient with isoniazid resistant tuber-culosis, which was treated surgically.
