아동학대 사례관리대상자의 특성 및 개입 방안에 관한 연구

국문 초록 (Abstract)

아동학대 예방을 위한 사회적 관심의 증가와 아동 인구 감소에도 불구하고 지속적으로 아동학대 사건이 증가하는 상황에서, 본 연구는 아동학대 예방을 위하여 아동학대자에 대한 적극적인 개 입이 그 방안이 될 것이라는 점에 주목하였다. 아동학대의 80% 이상이 부모에 의해 발생하고 있고 아동학대 예방을 위해 아동과 부모의 평생 분리가 정답일 수 없는 어려운 상황 가운데, 아동학대 사례관리대상자의 특성을 파악하고 이들에 대한 개입 방안에 대하여 고찰하였다. 분석 결과 아동학대 사례관리대상자는 특이할만한 속성을 지닌 사람이 아니라는 결과가 도출되 었다. 다만 사례관리대상자들에게서 공통적으로 발견되는 요인이 있었으나 그것이 마치 아동학대 를 발생시킨 원인인 것처럼 제시되는 것은 위험한 해석이 될 수 있다. 동일한 조건에서도 학대하지 않는 경우의 비율이 훨씬 높게 조사되었기 때문이다. 또한 재학대 예방을 위해 사례관리대상자에 게 실시되는 지원에 대해 살펴보았고 이러한 내용을 바탕으로 아동학대 예방을 위한 사례관리대상 의 개입 방안을 논의하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study focuses on the importance of proactive intervention with child abusers as a measure for preventing child abuse, despite the continuous increase in child abuse cases amid rising social awareness and a declining child population. Given that over 80% of child abuse is perpetrated by parents and that lifelong separation of children from their parents cannot be a viable solution, the study examined the characteristics of those subject to case management for child abuse and considered the support provided to them. The analysis revealed that individuals subject to case management for child abuse do not possess particularly unique attributes. However, it is dangerous to suggest that the common factors found among these individuals are the direct causes of child abuse, as the majority of people under the same conditions do not engage in abuse. The study also explored the support provided to these individuals to prevent re-abuse. Based on these findings, the study discussed intervention strategies for case management subjects to prevent child abuse.
