라오스를 위한 적정 디자인교육 ODA 분야에 관한 연구

국문 초록 (Abstract)

연구배경 : 라오스의 산업은 우리나라를 기준으로 1950~1970년대 사이에 위치해 있다고 볼 수 있다. 현재 라오스의 산업은 농업, 가내수공업, 경공업, 조립산업 단계에 있다. 또한 교육을 통한 인적자원재발 수준은 성인을 기준으로 초기상태의 직업훈련과 대학교육 단계에 있다. 최근 들어 라오스에서는 IT기술을 기반으로 하는 디자인의 수요가 점진적으로 증가하고 있다. 그러나 현실은 열악한 교육 환경과 조건으로 인해 기대에 미치지 못하고 있다. 대한민국은 ODA 차원에서 라오스의 경제 및 산업발전을 위해 교육 분야에 대한 원조를 지원하고 있으나 제공하는 교육원조의 분야가 제한적이라는 한계점을 갖고 있다. 대한민국의 독특한 디자인발전 경험과 노하우는 라오스의 경제 및 산업발전에 기여할 수 있다. 그럼에도 불구하고 라오스를 위한 우리나라의 디자인교육 분야에 대한 원조는 거의 활성화가 되어 있지 않은 상태이다. 또한 라오스에 효율적으로 디자인교육을 제공하기 위한 국가의 특수한 현황도 종합적으로 파악하지 못하고 있는 현실이다. 이번 연구의 주요 목적은 라오스의 경제 · 산업발전에 기여할 수 있는 적정 디자인교육 ODA 분야를 도출하는 것이다.
연구방법 : 본 연구는 라오스의 자원현황, 산업현황, 수출현황, 주력 경제 및 교육정책 현황, 디자인 및 디자인산업현황, 디자인교육 현황 등 6개 분야에 대한 복합적인 조사를 진행하였다.
연구결과 : 6개 분야에 걸친 조사결과를 종합하여 라오스의 경제발전을 위해 필요한 적정 디자인교육 원조 분야를 도출하였다.
결론 : 라오스의 개황을 조사하고 분석한 결과 라오스에서 가장 필요하고 중요한 적정 디자인교육 분야는 산업공예디자인, 제품디자인, 패션/텍스타일디자인 순으로 나타났다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Background : Industry of Laos is situated between 1950~1970 based on South Korea. Currently, industry of Laos is on the steps of agriculture, cottage industry, light industry, and the industrial assembly. In addition, the levels of human resource development through education are in the early stages of the vocational training and college status based on adults. Recently, the demand of designs in Laos based on the IT technology is increasing gradually. But the reality don’t meet expectations due to poor learning environment and conditions. South Korea has supported aid to the education sector for the economic and industrial development of Laos in official development assistance (ODA) level. However, the provided assistance for the field of education has a restrictive limitation. Unique design development experience and know-how of South Korea can contribute to the economic and industrial development of Laos. Nevertheless, assistance in design education sector by South Korea for Laos is a state that is not nearly active. In addition, the reality is that the survey about the special status of the state to provide effective design education in Laos has not been made comprehensively. The main purpose of this study is to derive the appropriate design education ODA(Official Development Assistance) fields to contribute to the Laos economy and industry.
Methods : The research conducts in six fields; status of resources, industries, exports, main economic and education policies, design and design industries, and design education in Laos for the study.
Result : As a result, the appropriate design education fields for ODA was derived comprehensively for the economic development of Laos by a comprehensive survey across six categories.
Conclusion : By the results of researching about compositive situation of Laos, the most important and appropriate design education fields needed in the Laos are in the order of industry craft design, product design, and fashion/textile design.
