The purposes of the study were to determine the intentions and attitudes of in- or preservice physical educators toward teaching students with disabilities in general physical education (GPE) based on the theory of planned behavior and suggested the future research direction by systematic review of literature. This study was conducted by analyzing, comparing, and contrasting data (e,g., research design, results, measurement) by both investigators. In addition, nine studies were assessed by the Strength of Recommendation Taxonomy (SORT; Ebell et al., 2004). In conclusion, the theory of planned behavior predicted physical educators’ intentions and attitudes toward teaching students with disabilities in GPE. Furthermore, many studies related to the current research reported that the intentions and attitudes of in- or preservice physical educators toward teaching students with disabilities in GPE were positively affected by attitudes. Numerous studies also found in- or preservice physical educators had positive intentions or attitudes toward inclusion in GPE. However, the quality of evidence of studies related to the current study was not strong by SORT.
