정선 구미정원림의 특성과 국가지정문화재 명승으로서의 가치 = The Beauty and Scenic Aspects of Gumi-pavilion Garden, Jeongseon

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 완상적 특성이 특히 강조되는 정선 구미정원림의 입지 및 조형 및 경관 특성 그리고 구미정사에 전해지는 ‘9미’와 ‘18경’의 경관특성과 의미를 재검토하고 발굴된 「구미구경」한시의 해석과 표제어 용례를 검토하고자 하였다. 또한 구미정원림을 사생한 현대회화가 총 50점의 그림을 중심으로 한 조망점을 분석을 통해 구미정사 일원에 대한 향후 국가유산인 명승지정의 방향타가 되는데 일조하고자 하였다. 결론적으로 구미정원림은 별서원림과 누정원림 그리고 구곡원림의 특성을 복합화한 누정으로서의 지위가 확인되었으며 9미 18경을 비롯한 다양한 승경과 시점 그리고 앙시(仰視), 부감시(俯瞰視) 그리고 수평시(水平視) 등 다채로운 경관구도를 가진 원림으로서의 특성이 부각되었다. 아울러 문화재적 가치 논란으로 큰 사회적 문제를 불러일으켰던 명승 성락원(城樂園) 사례를 교훈 삼아, 조영자에 대한 보다 정확하고 구체적 조영 및 향유 과정 등이 밝혀져야 할 것이다. 또한 문화유산 지정 명칭은 원형경관으로 보기 어려운 ‘구미정’ 단독으로는 국가유산 명승지정은 다소 부족하며“정선 구미정원림 일원” 등으로 유산 명칭을 정리할 필요가 있다. 이에 따른 영문 명칭은 “Garden of Gumi-pavilion and surroundings, Jeongseon”이 가장 부합할 것으로 판단된다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to review the location, form, and landscape characteristics of Jeongseon Gumi-pavilion garden, which particularly emphasizes the landscape characteristics, and the landscape characteristics and meaning of "9 beauty" and "18 scenic views" handed down to Gumijeongsa, and to review the interpretation and use of the title of the unearthed <Gumi Gugyeong> poem. In addition, by analyzing the viewpoints centered on a total of 50 paintings, the modern painting, which was drawn from the Gumi-pavilion garden, was intended to help become a rudder for the designation of future state-designated cultural properties for the area of Gumijeongsa. In conclusion, Gumi-pavilion garden has been identified as a pavilion that combines the characteristics of Byeolseo garden, Nujeong garden, and Gugok Wonrim, and its characteristics as a garden with various scenic landscapes and viewpoints, including '9 beauty and 18 scenic views', and various landscapes such as Horizontal view, Up-looking view, Bird's-eye view, etc. In addition, by taking lessons from the case of Seongnakwon, a scenic spot that caused a big social problem due to the controversy over its cultural value, more accurate and detailed constructs process and enjoyment process for constructor should be revealed. In addition, the cultural property designation name ‘Gumi-pavilion’, which is difficult to see as an original landscape, is somewhat insufficient to be designated as a nationally designated cultural property scenic spot, and there is a need to organize the cultural property names with “Jeongseon Gumi Garden Forest Area”, etc. Accordingly, it is believed that the English name “Garden of Gumi-pavilion and surroundings, Jeongseon” would be most appropriate
