Current interest in beams curved in plan derives from the tendency of modern bridges to be shaped to suit highway alignment. These bridges are often designed with the circular curved member system including warping effects. A considerable number of theoretical and experimental studies dealing with the behaviour of horizontally curved girders have been carried out by Culver and Christiano, Heins and Spates, Chauduri, and El-Amin and Dooley. In this study, the finite element analysis including warping effects is presented. This Method can overcome the difficulties due to geometrical complexibility and initial cuvatures of circular curved member system.
