The purpose of this study is to analyze the effectiveness of multicultural teacher education of incumbent and pre-service teachers. 30 studies centered on domestic group design were selected and 74 effect sizes were calculated. The effect size calculated in each study was analyzed according to the study subject, the school level of the study subject, the number of intervention sessions, and the dependent variable. As a result of the study, first, what is the overall effect size of multicultural teacher education .904, it can be seen as a high effect size. Second, incumbent teachers showed a higher effect size than pre-service teachers. Third, kindergarten showed the highest effect size and middle and high school showed the lowest effect size. Fourth, in terms of the effect size according to the number of arbitration sessions, more than 20 sessions showed the highest effect size and less than 10 sessions showed a small effect size. Fifth, the effect size according to the dependent variable showed a high effect size for multicultural efficacy and multicultural competence, and multicultural attitude and multicultural perception showed a medium effect size. Based on these results, the implications of the study and follow-up studies were discussed.
