1970년대 여고생 교련 교육의 구상과 실제 = The Conception and Practice of the Military Drill Education of High School Girls in the 1970s

국문 초록 (Abstract)

1969년부터 재개된 학교 교련 교육은 남녀 고등학생에게도 부과되었다. 이 논문은 여고 교련 교육에 활용된 교범의 내용을 분석하여 교련 교육이 구상한 계획을 살폈다. 아울러 실제 학교에서 수행되었던 교련 교육의 양상을 파악하여 여고생 교련 교육의 구상과 실제의 차이를 분석했다. 1970년대 학교에서 진행된 여고 교련 교육은 매년 실시하는 검열에 대비하여 질서 및 제식 훈련의 비중이 컸다. 그에 따라 구급, 보건, 위생, 간호와 관련된 교육을 통해 유사시 활용할 수 있는 인력을 양성한다는 목적보다 여고생의 동원, 통제, 획일화를 가져오는 군사문화에 기여했다.

When school military drill was reintroduced in 1969, it was made compulsory for high school students of both sexes. This paper analyzes the contents of the textbooks used for girls' military drill education in order to examine the plans for the subject. This paper also analyzes the difference between the conception and the reality of girls' military drill education by identifying the aspects of the subject that were actually carried out in schools. In the 1970s, girls' military drill education was heavily weighted towards order and ceremonial training in preparation for the annual inspections, contributing to a military culture that mobilized, controlled and homogenized high school girls, rather than creating a workforce that could be used in case of emergency through training in first aid, health, hygiene and nursing.
