The purpose of this study was to produce regression equation of V'O_2 max prediction equations for Korean students, and to evaluate the validity of their prediction equations. The equations of V'O_2 max(1/min, ml/kg/min and ml/FFW/min) were obtained by multiple regression procedures from a sample of 106 students(M: 53, F: 53), aged 7-17 years. The prediction for V'O2 max were obtained from the subjects' age, height, weight, %fat and fat-free weight.

The validity of prediction equations was tested from the validity group(36). The validity is 0.36-0.51 for V'O_2 max. % errors is -0.8-11.7%. Its indicated that reasonably and accurate estimate of V'O_2 max for Korean students may be obtained from their age, height, weight, %fat and fat-free weight.
