      The purpose of this present is to study the organization and management to adjust functional life centered curriculum to children with developmental disbility.
      Functional life centered curriculum is based on the philosophy of normalization that disabled children grow to be human having a full citizenship. The purpose of this curriculum is to have disabled children acquire of their full citizenship by teaching children knowledges, skills and attitudes in living situation which needed for present and furture lives of them. Therefore, the contents of this curriculum are the functional skills to have children interest of concern, to be effective in the real lives, and to improve their adaptive abilities toward change for their future. The skills selected in the curriculum are composed of several category should be organied to have continuity, sequency and intergration.
      In other words, the teaching principal of children with disability children is divided into the principal of development, principal of behavior and principal of functional life. Functional life centered curriculum is aimed the principal of founctional life and must be managed and reciprocally used the teaching principal of development and principal of behavior in according to text contents or subject of learning activity and ability or charicteritics of application object child. In addition, knowledge and founction in childrens' life is not used in pieces but used in reciprocally intergrated. So, this curriculum should be managed not to teach a piece of experience or knowledge but consist of intergrated learning unit. Especially, in case of children with developmental disability, learning activities should be provided intergrated type rather than seperated into each domain or subject because learned contents are able to be transitted and increased acquisition probability.
      Therefore, A finctional life centered curriculum should compose children's experience centered unit in terms of event, seasons, tasks and topics on the basis of their lives.
      So, if you agree with children with developmental disability to participate in society as a man with full citizenship human, we have to acknowledge them as children having a unique educational needs, organize and manage the founctional life centered curriculum that come up to their needs.
