This experiment was carried out in order to identify optimum concentration of growth regulators added to Kyoto solution Ⅱ for stimulation of growth of plant height, root length and others, and proliferation of protcorms to use Orchid cultivar "Cym. wakakusa Eburmeq-Robianum."
These results obtained were summarized as follows.
In the media added with IAA, it was noted that IAA 1.5ppm was the most effective, in NAA, concentration of 0.5ppm was the most suitable, in IBA, 15.0ppm highly stimulated growth, higher concentration of 2,4-D restrained growth, and protocorm became lignification, Kinetin was not suitable for growth of this variety.
Judging from the above results indicated, NAA 0.5ppm was identified as the most suitable one for this variety. Especially, it is thought that this medium is effective to proliferation of protocorms as well as growth of mericlones.
