The purpose of this study is to investigate extracurricular curriculum management in elementary school at the 7th National Curriculum. To achieve this purpose, questionnaire survey was carried out against 224 teachers. The collected data were analyzed by percentage and x^2(chi-square) test.
The major findings of this study were as followings:
First, the 7th National Curriculum is not different from the 6th National Curriculum in very so much. Only the appearance was changed from the 6th that but contents is not changed so much. The substances of contents which should be taught to pupils is similar with the 6th National Curriculum's that.
Second, Changed appearance has given confusion to teachers because of their complication. The 7th National Curriculum appearance has more than 20 small domain, this is given chaos to teachers than the 6th National Curriculum. Sub-domain is divided too complicatedly to manage efficiently.
Third, the 7th National Curriculum has failed to make assure teaching times for management of extracurricular curriculum appropriately. Extracurricular teaching times is insufficient to manage more than 20 sub-domain. Sufficient managing time is essential to National Curriculum normalization.
Forth, It is insufficient for budgets to manage extra-curriculum. The budget is very important to manage extra-curriculum harmoniously. Extra-curriculum budget should be assign for music, youth organizations, cuisine and arts which is demand a special subject study separately.
