      This research is made to find out how teachers use multimedia data as one of the tools focused on ICT in middle school music classes and what they feel they should do to activate music classes. The results are as follows:
      Firstly, no one can make study data including media, sound and motion images in using multimedia data. Teachers with relatively short careers in education use multimedia data more frequently and teachers in Seoul use them more than those in Chungnam.
      Secondly, teachers with short careers in education usually use multimedia data as a way to motivate students. In contrast, teachers with long careers in education use them in all parts from introduction to arrangement. Teachers in Seoul use them more than those In Chungnam in many parts such as motivation,
      Thirdly, multimedia data in music classes are reconstructed and used mostly as assistant teaching materials. Older teachers depend on them more than younger teachers. Mostly, teachers in Chungnam reconstruct them as assistant teaching materials, while teachers in Seoul depend on multimedia data.
      In conclusion, teachers with short careers in education and those in the city usually depend on multimedia data in terms of using multimedia data effectively in classes focused on real sound.
      ICT education doesn't mean a lot with only its own introduction and practice. It is just one of the teaching methods to achieve educational purposes. So it is important not to use ICT education thoughtlessly but to use it properly according to the class purpose.
      Finally, the value of ICT should be recognized not as its own purpose but as ways or means to achieve class purpose. ICT education in classes focused on the real sound can come into effect when many parts are practiced together. We have already noticed ICT's technological usefulness through many preceding researches. However, we can't make sure if the technological usefulness has educational value and utility in every subjects.
      So in the following studies, the educational effectiveness about ICT should not be thought positively or negatively. Besides its educational value and effect should be proved in many parts to find out its value and possibility in classes.

      Art is the product of the times. Because that has played various roles by the times and historical background and has become important element which forms the culture. Therefore the appreciation training is very essential for understanding the culture. Middle school students have usually the opportunities of learning from their school and their teacher. So, this thesis analyzed and arranged the previous study documents of the 7th education curriculum which is focused on upbringing creative Korean leading globalization and information of 21th century.
      First, this thesis is focused on the theoretical background, importance and meaning of appreciation learning. Second, this thesis studied the appreciation training of art in middle school by the characteristics and the goal and the contents of each unit and studied the method for teaching in the current education system.
      A revision of the 7th curriculum of art education does emphasize the characteristic of art as the education for individuality, originality, emotion and does emphasize, in the structure of its contents, continuation, systematization, unification including essential learning element and activity.
      In addition, that emphasizes the platitude of art, establishing one's subjecthood to the Korean art and culture, understanding to the global culture , establishing of sensibility of beauty and one's value to beauty.
      So, this thesis chose the subject of the appreciation class to cope with the changes of the times and showed some examples of the appreciation class.,
