      다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Based in Hadong-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do, Kim Byung-tae was a person who experienced a period of upheaval as a so-called confucian doctor(儒醫) who played a role of medical doctor in parallel with a village school teacher. Kim Byeong-tae was also a writer of classical literature who left 『Seokbongyugo: Seokbong‘s posthumous work』, but the collection of his literary works was published and printed in 1987, 31 years after since he died. Thus, this manuscript shed new light on sociology of publication connected to the history of his family until 『Seokbongyugo』 was published by selecting a microscopic approach focused on a specific family.
Prior to this, this manuscript introduced a shortened history of his life that Kim Byeong-tae who was born as the son of his father’s second bed became a noted doctor by entering the world of medicine at the age of 21 when his father deceased. Next, this manuscript examined the eldest son Gaheon(稼軒) Kim Sang-gi(金相箕)’s collection of late father’s posthumous work and correction(訂正) of manuscript followed by copy(抄役) of the first draft(草稿). Kim Sang-gi followed the steps of printing and publication upon completion of engraving(板刻) that prepare wood block and carve letters on it.
By the way, it is noted that Kim Sang-gi made a slow move of recording traces of his family 12 years after his father’s death, and writing his father’s life story < Haengjang(行狀) > after 18 years in 1987. He published collection of his father’s literary works with late submission of < Haengjang(行狀) > completion of tomb inscriptions and < postscript >. In the hidden side of the appearance of 『Seokbongyugo』 after 31 years, there was a tragic history of his family. A series of circumstances for delay of publication of 『Seokbongyugo』 due to consecutive mourning and misfortune(喪禍), is paradoxically considered a case that confirms symbolic status of collection of literary works in his family clearly.
