대학생의 폭력인식이 데이트폭력행동에 미치는 영향 = 관계만족도의 조절효과를 중심으로

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 대학생의 폭력인식이 데이트폭력행동에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고, 폭력인식과 데이트폭력행동의 관계에서 관계만족도가 조절효과를 나타내는지를 검증하였다. 부산?경남지역의 5개 대학에 재학 중인 대학생으로부터 수집된 설문조사 자료 604부를 사용하여 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다.
분석결과, 첫째, 대학생들의 폭력인식(폭력정당화, 데이트관계신화)은 모든 유형의 데이트폭력행동(성폭력, 성희롱, 언어폭력, 신체폭력, 스토킹)에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 관계만족도는 폭력정당화와 모든 데이트폭력행동(성폭력, 성희롱, 언어폭력, 신체폭력, 스토킹) 관계에서는 조절효과를 지니는 반면, 데이트관계신화와 데이트폭력행동의 관계에서 조절효과가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 관계만족도가 낮은 경우 폭력정당화의 정도가 높을수록 4유형(성폭력, 성희롱, 신체폭력, 스토킹)의 데이트폭력행동이 급격히 증가하였다. 그러나 언어폭력은 관계만족도가 낮은 경우 폭력정당화의 정도가 높을수록 언어폭력이 급격히 증가된 반면, 관계만족도가 높은 경우 폭력정당화가 높을수록 언어폭력이 감소하였다. 연구결과를 토대로, 데이트폭력을 경감시키기 위한 교육프로그램과 제도적 지원책의 필요성이 제시되었다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study aims to investigate the effects of two kinds of violence perception (justification of violence, irrational belief of date violence) on five types of dating violence(sexual assault, sexual harrassment, verbal abuse, physical violence and stalking). At the same time, the moderating effect of relationship satisfaction on the relationship between violence perception and dating violence is tested. For these purposes of the study, hierarchical regression analysis was used with the data collected from six hundred four male and female students of five universities located in KyungNam and Busan.
As a result of analyses, it was found that two kinds of violence perception (justification of violence, irrational belief of date violence) had effects on five types of dating violence(sexual assault, sexual harrassment, verbal abuse, physical violence and stalking). Relationship satisfaction was found to have a significant moderating effect on the relationship between justification of violence and five types of dating violences, but no moderating effect on the relationship between irrational belief and dating violence. When relation satisfaction is low, there was an abrupt increase on four types of dating violences as justification of violence increases. However, an exception was found in verbal abuse. When relation satisfaction is high, there was a decrease of verbal abuse as justification of violence increases. Based on these results, the need of educational program and institutional support measures to alleviate dating violence was suggested.
