      다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

      Because the real value of education is largely dependent on the qualification of the teachers themselves. A factor, so-called teacher, is the most important of all.
      Therefore a study of the job-satisfaction of the teachers is needed, especially in kindergarten education. But now reviewing trends on the study of infant education in Korea, there were no studies about these subjects.
      This study was conducted to offer basic fundamentals through the job-satisfaction of teachers in the kindergarten for promoting educational productivity. To evaluate factors of job-satisfaction and then the levels of teachers in kindergarten were checked through preliminary research and theory.
      And satisfaction levels of private and environmental characteristics were studied. The questionnaire invented by The Korea Education Association, KTO, was used and then distributed to almost 180 teachers of the private and public kindergarten.
      Data of 173 were evaluated, using SAS.
      As a result, most of kindergarten teachers were satisfied with 16 factors but not with 5 factors such as human relationship with office workers, guide patterns for infants, uncomfortable job conditions, unnecessary chore, low salary and bonus etc..
      These teachers are satisfied, who are older than 40 and have teaching experiences of 2 to 7 years and educational background of high school or Junior College graduate standard and married and work as a head teacher in public institutions especially in fewer than 3 classrooms and in charge of 40 or less infants and work only 5 days a week.
      We can conclude there should be some incentives inducing young teachers satisfactory and offering good treatments for well educated teachers, and establishing good atmosphere for the single teachers after marriage, and then safety devices of status for teachers working in private kindergarten.
